No surprise here. Vote harder.

Judge dismisses Kari Lake's final claim in election loss for Arizona governor

The fabric of space/time and our entire political game would be unraveled by this getting to court and overturning the election. They cannot allow that to happen - regardless of how blatant the fraudulent election actions were. Now that it's been seen that there are zero ramifications for a stolen election, we can count on more of the same. At this point, bothering to vote is a waste of time. None of what is broken can be fixed at the ballot box.

You are correct , If they overturned or even had a new election . It would lead to more fraudulent elections being challenged. Which would lead to people demanding real verification of elections. Maybe, even get people more involved in the political process . That would be bad for the whole political class .

The courts are every bit as corrupt as the rest of the political class!
You can never trust the dirty black robed bastards.

MAN, FUCK THE LGBT SHIT EVEN MORE.

They fucking appropriated the flag design of the Beiyang Fleet of the Chinese Imperial and Guomingdang Naval Forces. The Beiyang Fleet, formed in 1885, was one of the Imperial Qing Dynasty's many operations to thoroughly modernize Chinese defense and infrastructure, in a campaign similar to the Tanzimat Reforms of the Ottoman Empire under Sultan Abdul Hamid II. National industry, railroad, and manufacturing full impetus, and a completely new army and naval structure. The Beiyang Fleet, upon completion, had 14 Dreadnought class battleships and 130 support vessels and was assigned to guard the East China Sea. After the Revolution of 1911 and the Qing Dynasty gave way to the Republic of China, the Beiyang Fleet retained it's original colors and remained the flagship fleet of the Guomingdang naval forces. The Beiyang Banner showed here was also incorporated into the ROC's elite 19th and 26th Army Groups which were tasked with the defense of Chengdu and Xiamen during World War II. Under the People's Republic of China, the Beiyang Fleet was incorporated into the North Seas Fleet in 1955 and today contains the Submarine Corps, which operates the ICBM Shang and Han class nuclear subs...

Well....I have some issues with that.

Firstoff HMS Dreadnought came out in 1905, the original "all big gun" ship. The ships of the chinese navy are what we would call today "pre dreadnaughts" A mix of heavy guns, down to small guns including 1" in size for work against torpedo boats. After dreadnaught the had the large guns, say 12" and then it would fall to the "point defense" type weapons incase anything got close and past the screen. This was done to make shot correction more easy. This was a big thing when all this was coming around, the ability to shoot far with big guns came before the ability to shoot AT something that far away, moving, side to side as well as up and down. It would be like you trying to do your long range stuff standing on a water bed with another person jumping on it at a target having the same thing done. At 4 miles away was that a 8" shell splash or a 12"....hard to say. Really the base of it.

When the japanese-sino war ended in the 1890's china looked around and said.....you know we have lots of issues here, and they tried to get their house in order......but.

Everyone else, as in EVERYONE saw china like Africa, to be carved up and used, so all these countries came together for their "cut" of china. Countries fought side by side that would soon be shooting at each other just 14 years down the road. There is a fairly good movie on the Boxer Rebellion that had Charlton Heston in it, not real accurate, but still a good movie and it does cover the different countries fairly well. If you dig into it you will find accounts of the Marines and their Lee Navy rifles, a straight pull speed demon that shot a 6mm cartridge VERY fast VERY flat and quite far, accounts of marine sharp shooters are out there if you care to look. I think this board would be interested in that kind of thing.

Anyhoo....a normal babble, the fleet the chinese tried to build was really a paper fleet, the powers would never allow china to become strong with a "real" navy like you suggest, having it divided was just too good for their business, and getting them all stoned was also good for business, but that is for another post.
