Yea, but... Japanese men and society are currently outrageously feminized because of the tremendous loss of men during WWII topped off with post-war sanctions. No one left to be samurai, warriors. The manly culture was killed. Pretty much the same as the US/Western Europe. Maybe b/c "immigration" they will get it back. I'm not condoning the imperial bad behavior up to and during WWII, but they are paying for it.

US car prices reach new high

The average new vehicle transaction price in the U.S. reached a record high in September.

The average new vehicle transaction price exceeded $50,000 for the first time after rising steadily for more than a year, according to recent estimates by Kelley Blue Book. That average transaction price was up 2.1% from August and 3.6% year over year, marking the largest annual gain since the spring of 2023, according to the data.

As 2026 model-year vehicles started showing up on dealer lots in September, the average new-vehicle manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), or "asking price," also reached a record high of $52,183, according to the data. That's a 4.2% increase year over year.

Germany,UK and France the same. really a surprise that Russia still shows a rather strong culture. they lost many millions in 2 WWs and some subsequently in Afgh and Chechnya. losing a lot more in Ukraine. they seem to be an outlier in the loss of young males/loss of strength idea.
explanation of that? maybe because of their hx of their culture being one of absolute control from the top? but that doesn't fly in light of Japanese and German culture. ????

We live in a society that is literally addicted to consuming media content. Unfortunately, control of that content is dominated by just a handful of ultra-powerful corporations. Back in 1983, the media industry was controlled by a group of about 50 large companies. Today, the media industry is controlled by just 6 gigantic corporations. They own television networks, streaming services, cable channels, movie studios, newspapers, magazines, publishing houses, music labels and even many of our favorite websites.

Was an observation from a friend of mine's Japanese grandfather.
A good mother should be able to start a boy on the way to manliness. Maybe Russian women are more manly? Maybe Russia was more rural/agrarian and bullying was allowed?

I just googled adult male mortality during WWII and ... Russia ~80%, Germany ~46%, allies-Finland-Italy-China ~1.5-6% each, Japanese ~9%

Maybe the post-war sanctions on Japan had a bigger effect than the shortage of men...
