My last POS Toro got the same treatment and replaced it with a Stihl. Issue resolved.

I just left my POS RYOBI in the bed of my truck and went into Walmart. Issue resolved, at least for me.

You speak from experience! My mom got the sponge. I suspect strongly that the jars full of stamps were a way to keep me contained. The dry tongue just prolonged it.
