Well, at the bottom you can see the Tokaido Shinkansen line, exactly where it should be. Tokyo prefecture would be a bit to the East and slightly North, though, from that view. The port of Yokohama would be directly East and closer.
thanks

not familiar other than I think it's the only city with such a unique mountain top so close so guessed

thanks

Amazon paid 3.7 billion in 21 and 6 billion in 22 in US income taxes. I just happened to be in their annual report for another reason. Page 42

All businesses that are profitable and which have net positive cash flow pay taxes. Not just income taxes but also property taxes and inventory taxes as well as match employee payroll taxes.

Taxes are just another expense like salaries. And if one goes up another must go down if you can’t raise prices or be more productive.

Of course, that would be "Mt. Fuji" (Fuji-san as it's called there). It's about 100km direct distance from the center of Tokyo.

On a good day, you can see it a lot closer while traveling on the Tokaido Shinkansen. I've done it several times. Imagine being on the Tokaido line in that picture at the 6'Oclock position... breathtaking. Always ask for "Seat D." No matter in which car, just ask for seat "D" if in a 1st class (2-2 seating) car (or "E" if it's a 2nd class 2-3 seating car). That should get you the proper window. The direction of travel doesn't matter because the train sets don't ever turn around (they aren't "Wye'd," for example). They just go back and forth as "double enders."

I took the following pic from my hotel room in Tokyo (Ebisu district, near Shibuya) at night fall. Was one of the clearest evenings possible. I'm sure you can see the silhouette in the sky. AND NO, IT"S NOT A BOOB OR ANYTHING LIKE IT!!!!! :ROFLMAO:
