One example is finding out all those juniper trees growing on Steens Mountain which by the way used to be treeless, have been sucking all the water from reaching the Donner and Blitzen rivers.
Creeks and rivers, running out of water isn't so much due to climate change it's due to all the garbage trees and underbrush.
