It's just the cheap iron used by Chevy back in those days.
Was VERY common for flat cams at about 50k miles.
When I acquired it and pulled the valve cover to see what was going on, the valve cover had never been off before, everything was still shiny new.
Not an oil issue

another reason for cam failure, is the removal of ZDDP from off the shelf oil.

Well, actually, each fuck could have its own sake, so it should be “for fuck’s sake,” or “for fucks’ sakes.” Unless, of course, all fucks are working toward one goal, then it would be “for fucks’ sake.” If this is truly a work email, I would use “Oh, for the sake of all fucks.” This removes any confusion.

I have had Klamath Crud quite a few times. That Klamath river valley would get socked in with smoke and it was miserable. I sent my family out of Happy Camp a couple times when I lived there. My first time there was in the 80's on a fire..Can't remember the name of it. Then I moved there in 98-01. Hog fire maybe?

Actually it's two ribeyes stacked and a USDA Prime filet. My Bro-in-law and I ate the ribeyes, and my little sis ate the filet. We love great food when camping. Steak night on day two is a family tradition.
