What the hell is wrong with you?

Medium Ribeye? Why not just serve boot-leather? Or Arby's?

Good lord, I thought I was among gentlemen here. Medium Ribeye.

I prefer a nice rare sear myself, but have made peace with the fact that some are not as refined as me. It pains me to admit that a medium marbled steak does not taste too bad. I hate wasting food.

My objection is to polluting good steak with said beans...

Didn't anyone bother to notice that he sliced it horizontally before cooking it?
He thinned it out. I mean, how could anyone do that and live with themselves afterward?

I was sitting at the bottom of a tree eating a sandwich and had a squirrel jump on my shoulder and run down me to the ground. Spooked the shit out of me. I assume it just saw me as part of the tree. I still won't eat my lunch leaned on a tree.
I was sitting in a deer stand one morning. I was sitting in it with my barrel propped up on the rail. I watched a squirrel coming across the ground towards my stand. He started climbing up the deer stand, with me sitting very still. Next thing I know, he puts both front feet on the end of the barrel, and peeks up over the end of the barrel right at me. I had my finger on the trigger, but just didn’t heart to pull it. 😄

At least he didn't sound the alarm you were there, I get caught by the squirrels they alert everyone

That's probably better than what is taught today...

FAR better. In the 1980s, typewriters were still the main word processing tool in every school and office across the country, and world. Even as late as 1999, there were still offices which only had one bulky CRT-screen computer set up in a single cubicle where any employee who needed to use it can go there, extract something from a floppy disk or something, and then put it back to sleep mode until somebody else needed it. Documents were still being cranked out on electronic typewriters. I worked at Staples in the mid 2010s. We were still selling a ton of Brother typewriters and word editing typewriters and people were using our order stations to get them sent to our store for pickup when our stock ran out. Our tech section had an entire wall shelf where ribbon cartridges, correction tape, daisywheels in various fonts, and typewriter maintenance stuff like roller grease and small screwdrivers were kept and we sold a lot of these too.

Half Runners

Beans (other than green beans) are nasty. Green beans have to be done right though. The south does the right.

Half-runners are the best green beans. Render them down in bacon/bacon grease! My grandparents in SE Missouri grew them. Always had them on the dinner table!

No pictures but I did the salmon today. Tossed in olive oil and seasoned with a lemonpepper blend.

I don't know how to describe it but the sockeye tasted...less than ideal. Took one bite, spit it out, and tossed it. It didn't taste like it had gone bad but it wasn't good either. Maybe it wasn't fresh enough. Don't know.

The atlantic (organic wild caught product of Norway/Ireland for what it's worth) tasted great. Was a bit light on the seasoning, but it was buttery and tender with next to no fishy flavor.

Sir, we gonna have a tussle. You kill them beans cooking too long.

Southern cooking is great, but your green beans are ass.

Respectfully, your northern farmer.

BTW I have discovered grilled corn on the cob. A little fussy, but man it's good.

When I arrived in Ohio and tried to 'boil' corn the way Eastern Yankees and Eastern Confederates do...

I was set straight.

Grilled corn is the ONLY way to do it. In the husk. With a bit of water and butter.

Boiling corn is the greatest crime ever committed by us Easterners!!
