Drugs are basically the same Darwinian centrifuge as playing stupid games on railroad tracks or surfing the rooftop of commuter trains. People who value their safety and livelihoods do not engage in these behaviors period, doesn't matter what laws are there to prevent OR encourage it. Dumbshits who don't know better or don't care will eventually FAFO. Some might have a lucky streak and go through a whole year of direct-vein shoots without getting bad product or infection but that luck is gonna end sooner or later.
I've seen and read accounts from people who used "tranq", "crocodil", and more commonly known meth and heroin. And after reading these and seeing the effects of that shit, that is like NOPE fucking 10,000 times. People who do not use these kinds of shit will NEVER use them, even if they were given money and rewards to use. And dumbfucks who are brave or stupid enough to jump into that whirlpool cannot and will not be stopped by ANY laws, until they OD or get raging flesh eating sepsis, literally zombifying while still remaining alive until the bacteria consumes their way to their brainstem.
Eventually, drugs in a society that has fully legalized them will just remain there, inanimate objects just like the caternary wires above electrified railway tracks. They are always there, and always on and live. Very few people will climb a caternary tower or take a long metal pole to play with the wires, unless they have a death wish.
