That will be the last time they ever try to let an old man know he has a low tire.
The disappointment I have right now for you not sending that advertisement before it was too late would shatter the earth.
Needs a CR250 engine in there… to be sure you meet God.The disappointment I have right now for you not sending that advertisement before it was too late would shatter the earth.
That would be FUN!Needs a CR250 engine in there… to be sure you meet God.
I saw some stuff on the intardwebs about 125cc shifter carts running 140mph around oval tracks, Daytona maybe? Dude, sign me up! My adrenaline junkie self would be lit up!Needs a CR250 engine in there… to be sure you meet God.
I drove 125cc (2 stroke) Shifter cart at Bondurant. 0-100-0 in 5 seconds. They said the shifter carts would lap the corvettes on the road course every 3 laps. I had a Nissan Skyline Turbo EX when I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, got a "toll booth to toll booth" time that had me with an average speed of 168mph...that was from slowing down to grab the ticket until I stopped at the booth to pay the toll. The brakes were SMOKING. Good times.I drove 125cc (2 stroke) Shifter cart at Bondurant. 0-100-0 in 5 seconds. They said the shifter carts would lap the corvettes on the road course every 3 laps. You think that spelling was done on porpoise? Regardless, seems shellfish to stock pile that much ammo!

Whale, watcha gonna do!
How much hairspray did he use?!
Don't worry they are still not considered cool, more on the pathetic trailer their bike to a ride side. Their sales seem to reflect the non cool nature of the HD.
That said I would love to find one just like the one pictured. I want one from the AMF years in as close to unmolested shape as I can find.
It wasn’t “that” hard of an install. Since everything was Toyota , everything fit good.
The residuals like changing the timing belt/BELTS…...
better Plugs and wires , polishing the throttle body etc. was a bigger PITA to me than putting the SC on. View attachment 8189434
This is a Brenda shot, she likes foxes, I don’t like them when they show up at 1:AM and threaten my automatic mouse catcher. (AKA Warpaint)

I don't ever remember hearing of anyone wanting an AMF scooter. What's the draw?I think that one is still around. Was in the Same area 3-4 years ago. But it had been molested after I sold it… AMF’s are out there!

10-4. I should've quoted the guy that was actually trying to find your old AMF scooter.Back then it was “old” and quirky. I was going to buy an XLX. But they were common and kind of boring. This bike was sitting alone in the corner at Ray Price and was $1000 less than a new XLX. Only had kick start. And was the “Competition Hot”’ model.
Lots of iconic bikes done by AMF. And as much as everyone hated them, they saved the company. AMF funded the Evo.
I still have a VERY unmolested FXWG flame glide. That was one of William G’s designs and really put HD back on the map. I saw one in 1980 when they came out… I was riding a Honda CL175 at the time and vowed I would have one someday.
So, yeah, AMF has their followers… and the bikes that are still around are even antique survivors! Think about it… most AMF’s are older now than most Knuckleheads were in 1989.
Cheers, Sirhr
That ammunition looks fishy.
So you didn't have any of the awesome Skyline Chili while you were in Cincinnati? That's a shame.
It would bring your level of disgust for Ohio food to a new level.
I had a roommate from Cincinnati that raved about Skyline. He brought some back after a trip home and was so proud to let me try some. I tried to play up my response but I could tell he was disappointed that I thought he mixed up the dog food cansNow... talking shit about Skyline is too far...
Our "hole in the wall" places are the best though. We have way too many fatties here in Ohio for ALL of our food to be bad.
Yes. His name is Paul and he recently transferred to the my shift. I’m looking at him now and fantasizing about him having an “accident” at work
I see these fucking things all the time in downtown Denver

My journey began with a used '81 Sporty in '86, currently have an '09 FLHTCU in the shop, unridden since mid '15. I put 20k miles on it the first year. It currently sits with 22k miles on it. Body wear, tear and deterioration is a wonderful thing.
Went through some FXs & another Ultra in between.
Nice looking Sporty, BTW.

For my Cliff moment, they wanted him to do Magnum P.I. but he said he was too old.View attachment 8190064
