I'm not too into drones, but I know enough that there is a no fly area around where the fires happened.

Made me think, what would prevent someone strapping a camera to an old school remote controlled airplane? Other than jamming the radio signal, it would be pretty hard to stop.

Dont even try it. If they have turned this into a controlled area and someone flies into that area without permission - they WILL be found. The charges will be legion. Its way too easy to triangulate your position, follow the drone/plane old school, etc. When they find you, it will be a LONG time before you can drop a bar of soap in the shower. These location technologies aren't just limited to newer drones. Just because one flight is successful doesn't mean the next one will be. The charges would be state, federal and potentially local.

Sometimes Karma has a way of smacking folks upside the head:

Easily rectified. Just stay back and let nature take course...

"Sorry ma'am, I am a man, I can't help you, like you said"... Even as blood begins to well out of her mouth and nose and her breathing begins to sound like rattling/gurgling. Sorry, you are on your own.

Real karma would be if she didn't have her phone on her, and "help" finally arriving about 4 days later after neighbors begin to complain of an increasingly stronger and stronger foul odor coming from her house.

Darwinian natural selection is a natural process in which the biosphere rids itself of troublesome add-ons. Human societal and technological evolution DEFINITELY slowed down a bit when our institutions started to try to help the stupid ones catch up, thus slowing down everybody else. Going by conservative estimates if we had progressed from the 19th century on to the current day WITHOUT all of the "progressive" social programs and other quasi-egalitarian institutions that accomplish nothing except give the lazy more incentives to stay lazy, we should have ALREADY had closed ecosystem bases and large scientific outposts on the Moon, Mars, and in orbit around Earth in the form of massive space stations the size of small towns.

"Resurrected"
Who writes this shit?
Illiteracy is alive and well among the educated of all things.
"ERECTED"
Yep. "Resurrected" would indicate that there was once a black curtain around Ground Zero BEFORE the fire, and now is there again. That would be a heck of a Freudian Slip, wouldn’t it.

The thing is, when crack heads do something illegal, there is very little that can be taken from them. Only those with a lot to lose pay attention to laws.

Sorry to hear that and I can relate!

I posted about a year ago that my Mom and Brother died less than a year of each other in 2021.
My Sister died 3 months ago. All jabbed and sis was boosted 2022.

Parents and siblings gone and only I remain and am NOT jabbed.

My sis who had always been nice to me before became a very irate and emotionally unstable person and so much so I didn't want to talk to her anymore.
My Sis's daughter is having horrible health issues. Jabbed too. Her other daughter who isn't jabbed is fine.

My point is all of them, Mom at 96, Bro at 75, and Sis at 72, suddenly had prior health issues go out of control which led to their decline.

My daughter is boosted and is always having headaches and stomach problems. I fear for her! Her good days are fewer than her bad days.

That is horrid to hear. Sorry if this is tacky.

I am thinking there is a set of "triggers" that will kick the "vaccine" into over drive. Genetic markers? Health issues? I think it is a little bit of both. I know it sounds horrid and I am not trying to be a total jerk, but I have little doubt if you got the shot you would not be around long. It seems to have hit your family hard. The generation one step away from you, seem to back this up. Your sis's daughter one fine the other with the shot health issues. Your daughter health issues.

I think this so called vaccine was setup to hit people of a specific makeup.

Protection of the family (physical, mental and religious) is why homeschooling is surging.

Personally I am on the fence on the entire home schooling thing. I don't have a dog in this fight, my kid is off and married. But I don't think I am smart enough to do it.

And then there is the socialization side of things. Now my views are going by an observed sample size of one. And I do know how the family is generally speaking is likely how the kid is going to be.

Story time:

There is a kid across the street, seems like a good kid. Says he is 12, but he is one big kid for 12. He asked the wife if she had any weed eating that needed done around the place. She said yea, put him to work. Mistake.

He is home schooled, and will be going to a "christian school" in town this year. This poor kid is starved for attn. He just wants to talk. And is very socially.....well awkward. He just says things that you think.....did you really just say what I think you said. You want to say buddy you don't ask that question.

Example

I have all my battery tools on the wall, he sees I have two sawzall's he sees this and says, you have two saws do you want to sell one. I was out back and the wife called, his weed eater needed a repair and he needed a pair of snap ring plyers, I tell them what drawer they are in, and he fixes the tool. I get up there and he asks, you have two sets of snap ring plyers do you want to sell them. Sees something that looks like I have never used it, do you want that.

Perhaps it is just me, I don't know. It is also not what he said but how he said it. The way it was said just set off alarm bells in your head. Wife got the same feeling, she was with him all day.

Polite and respectful as the day is long. I really think he just does not know where the line is, how to really interact with people. Wife and I both said when he gets to school in the city those kids are going to eat him alive.

They most certainly can jam/disable drones. . . if they have the right tools and somebody legit to use them.
If the crews on scene are as low performance as a lot we have witnessed, there would probably be opportunities at first.

Small drone popping up for 30 seconds would not be easy to detect.
Plenty of nerds that hack drones to work around GPS denied zones and outside cell nodes.

If there were a few incursions noticed, I would bet the scene commander would make sure resources were re-shuffled to prioritize such acts of defiance so it would certainly be noticed even by idiots and not tolerated.

.

You are going to need something to control the "drone". Cameras and flying in manually, that would require a radio signal. In the "real old days" that was AM, in the "old days" it was FM, now it is 2.4. The camera back when I was playing with is was UHF. All this can be jammed. If you want to program a flight, you would need GPS. Personally I am not aware of a "hobby" type setup that will have a map loaded, you tell it to take off, fly at x feet to over there, circle twice and come back. It could exist, and I would be shocked if it did not, I just have never seen it, but I have been out of the hobby for years.

They stopped people from doing this because people would "hack drones". Fucking pisses me off to no end, I loved flying.

they're very prevalent. which is fine. but we've wrecked two, but i cant do any level of .gov work with it until i get it swapped to USA made everything.

You make a living at this? I would love to pick your brain.

I built a few of my quads, and an 8 motor back in the early days. This is when pixhawk first became a thing. I always hated wookong so avoided it like the plague. I have a few cameras on my, no real time back, just download the video after. It was handy to see if you needed to clean out gutters. Mine sit in a closet under a cloud of dust and mountain of dog hair. The new rules just scare me to death, at one time I lived on RCGroups shame they took that fun away from us.

yes and no. i dont fly it, but i own it and its part of services my company offers. what you are using and playing with is not really in the same league as the tech we are using, unless you have more invested in your drone than most people have in their house. $200K gets you into the realm of a working drone. then its processors and photogrammetry etc.

It exists at the hobby level now. The software is open source and can be had for free, the controllers do tend to cost a bit more than what most want to put out for such things. But again, fully autonomous flight without the ability to hit to return home or kill switch is a no-go. So, at least in the .civ world both sides are still emitting if you are flying in a legal manner.

They have a pretty "fancy" one here at work, IR, thermal all that jazz. Used it in the winter at night to find an old lady with dementia that got up and wondered off. No clue where she was, wearing what she slept in and slippers. Found her in a corn field alive around 1am. It is nice when it works.

Yall are falling for it...

You cant organize a people that are polarized. Something about a "house divided" or something like that.

They have been dividing through education since 1830. It would take similar centuries to turn that tide.

These mouthpieces are simply the final nails in the coffin.

Hoo you callin' "Y'all", White Boy ? :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I've seen too much dirt on this guy lately to even think of trusting him. Just looks like another up and coming wef rino.

I've been stabbed in the back enough times by the pubes, I'm sick of it. It's gonna take a lot more than a frat boy that thinks he's cute to earn my vote.
