Had a safety joker at the plant back in the day when I worked for a living. We had a tool crib that we had built shelves for. The safety joker came in to inspect the crib and declared that we were to put nothing on the top shelf. These were not free-standing shelves, but anchored to the wall. I said, "No problem. We will just add another shelf 1/8 of an inch from the ceiling. We will call that the top shelf, then we can use the one you currently prohibit." The deer-in-the-headlights look was priceless. We went ahead and put stuff on that prohibited shelf. You can't make this stuff up. Same turkey declared that we needed 3 prong plugs on all of our double insulated tools. So, while he was standing there, I cut the plug off of one, grabbed a 3 prong plug and handed the tool and the plug to this fool. Asked him where to find the 3rd wire in that cord. He was another of those fools who couldn't handle a skilled job, so was made a safety officer.
Once upon a time I had a Datsun 2000 Roadster as a play toy. Little two seat, convertible, factory hot rod. 140 mph capable. It has fully a syncronised transmission except it didn't really work in 1st gear as I found out to my chagrin. The gear was held in place with a 35 cent roll pin and was also reverse gear. Shift into first gear without being dead still resulted in a sheared pin. Shop time was 16 hours to replace the pin. The first was replaced by the dealer. The second and last I did myself and sure enough, it took me 16 hours. Hood grill, radiator, battery box, and horn had to be removed, the exhaust header taken loose and pulled to the side and the intake and dual SU carbs removed. The frame had a X member and the transmission went back into that. Then engine and transmission came out together. the transmission split on a center plate and you removed the rear half exposing the gear and broken pin. I forgot dropping the driveshaft before removable. Then it all went back together. did the second and last pin replacement myself and it took exactly 16 hours.
I bought three of their bargain brand, Fuelpax (not blow molded) version. They came with the eco spouts but I ordered the old school normal yellow spouts they offered on their website. I kept 8 gallons, two containers, full for reserve and rotated the gas out every one or two months. Zero issues with filling or emptying. Could have been faster to empty but I was unwilling to drill a breather hole, it was optional and they provided the cap too, but didn't want to add a possible leak point. Kept one after I sold my poseur Tacoma. Best cans I've owned including the Jerry cans I've had. Those ALWAYS leaked from the gasket on the spout when filling. ALWAYS. The Rotopax bargain cans spent nine years mounted in the back of my Tacoma. I did have to replace the mounts as the threads rusted due to too many car washes. I had a membership to an Autowash and it was directly across from my subdivision. Probably averaged two car washes a week. But it looks like they don't offer the Fuelpax any longer. Wished I had kept the other two. They do sell the yellow spouts though.

It was the attorneys that killed the adult gas cans. We have to use the OSHA gas cans for work purposes. We have the "commodity transport containers" (race cans) for use at the place.
I left a job at a dealership owned body shop and the guy who replaced me did some retarded shit like this two weeks after he started. I had a good, hearty chuckle at that
