Something kicking off in Israel

It is not surprising, seeing the ludicrous gun control that Israel had passed in 2020. You can tell a lot about a country's state of mind and physical health just by looking at it's policies and overall mentality on individual weapons ownership.

Ownership of weapons and participation in an active sporting and defense culture is a sign of a personal commitment to do better, improve one's quality of life, take charge of one's own life path, and taking full initiative of being their communities' protectors and defenders in the case of an emergency.

When the majority of a country clamors for civilian disarmament policies and willingly allow themselves to be disarmed by officials that they themselves had voted in, it shows a very serious infection of complacency in the population. A population that has willingly gave up the tools and symbols of enfranchisement and individual sovereignty in exchange for vague government promises of "protection" has pretty much given up on life. They don't care about "taking the initiative" and achieving new goals anymore. They are willing to just grind their days away in complacent bliss while consuming unlimited quantities of artificial dopamine in the form of celebrity culture and electronic entertainment.

The Israel of today is very different from the Israel of 1953. The Israel of 1953 was almost identical to the settlements of rugged backcountry "overmountain men" in colonial Virginia who were instrumental in the destruction of the British army in the South during the Revolution. The Israel of 2023 possesses almost none of these features of rugged self reliance and individual commitment to being ready for combat and defense. The vast majority of Israelis today do not care about national politics or individual self sustenance skills like firearms, hunting, or wilderness/SHTF survival. Many might think that Americans have an obsession with celebrity culture but they have not seen places like Israel, South Korea, India, China, or Malaysia. Over there, the celebrity and fashion trend worship has been kicked into new gears that would make Americans look like they are midwestern sodhouse farmers just emerging into the 20th century. The obsession with fame, pop culture icons, following mass mindless trends, and being the loudest in their group to announce/denounce on the whim of a politician or influencer in these countries has reached levels that can clearly and accurately be labeled mass hysteria.

Almost every country in existence right now has been taken by this mass hysteria to varying degrees. There is virtually no country right now that can muster a military response to an emergency the same way that they would have done in 1941 because of just how much of this pop culture and complacency disease has infiltrated their civilian populations. In the UK, up to 70% of young people are apathetic to the course that their country is heading in or it's future. South Korea is facing loss of morale in it's once stalwart armed forces on an unprecendented level, with alarming rises in drug use, gang activity, and sexual crimes within the ranks of active duty personnel. And in the civilian sphere? Self sufficiency? Sportsmen culture? Forget about it. There has been a long running "joke" that the only things that South Korean men care about in life are video games and ramen noodles and the only thing that South Korean women care about in life is plastic surgery. These are not "jokes" at all... China is trying to take advantage of the slow decline that the entire social media saturated world is currently undergoing and desperately trying to ramp up patriotism and a national fervor for industrial infrastructure expansion and economic growth going as far as to take over failing industries in other countries and replacing these with their own, but China's youth is facing it's own problems. With up to 70% of young Chinese having been disillusioned by the utter incompetence of their government in the last 10 years and are now engaging in "tan ping", (quiet quitting), or "bai lan", letting it all rot and not caring anymore, China's momentum is rapidly losing it's steam as well. There are very few entities in the world at this moment that is really capable of fielding an effective response to violent and highly energetic terrorist cults whose members have not been taken over by pop culture complacency, or are forbidden to do so at the pain of death. It is basically a modern global version of the failing sedentary Roman Empire, already collapsing from within due to neglect and apathy, facing off against well organized and highly motivated bands of Turkic and Germanic raiders coming in to carve the remnants of the empire for themselves.

Did Congress authorize war?

In many ways these proxy wars are very diferent than wars of the past. the idea of war is that you defeat a enemy so that he no longer has capabilities. ultimatly this must be economically so that the enemy does not have the surpluses of energy manufacturing and personel to conduct war. In these proxy wars the economies that are expending their surpluses are not the parties at war. The health of all the economies of both the combatents and the ecomomies that support them become a much more complex equation than wars of the past. Once war is engaged in considerations about desirable outcomes become moot. The only time that what is a desirable outcome can be considered is prior to war. Things like a good standard of living, a healthy economy, security both financial and military. It seems to me that outcomes are not always considered. What would "winning" look like for Israel? Would the outcome of "wining" be desirable? If the outcomes of "winning" are not desirable are the outcomes of "losing" desirable? Believe it or not war may well be engaged to lose if it creates desirable outcome. The idea that winning or losing is always achieved is alsso deeply flawed. The state of war and what it creates may well be the desired outcome. The expediture of resources that allow war are always a investment. The idea that these resources are infinite should "winning" be achieved is obviously flawed. Winning becomes a goal where the outcome as imagined is largely fictional in some cases. What does "winning" look like for Isrsael? Will they have a healthy economy a good standard of living and security? If winning does not create desirable outcomes and losing does not create desirable outcomes then this silly old fool thinks its better not to go to war. The reality is that mediation and third part negotiation is also a option. Atypically that third party is the UN. Israel has rejected every solution the UN has brokered continuiong down a a diferent path.

Neither Israel or The USA seem to be able to consider outcomes IMO. Is this because they are fundamentally moronic or are the investments being made for reasons other than security and prosperity? That this silly old fool certainly does not have the answer to.

My analysis is winning will destroy Israel. Losing will destroy Israel. The only reasonable path forward if indeed the health welfare and security of the Israeli people is the concern is to fully participate in third part negotiations and abide by the solutions. In the past Israel has rejected that path absolutely. If you understand the history and radical nature of the Likud party its no surprise.

The more important question to me is what is the USA doing? Are we truly a friend to Israel to support their behavior? Are the outcomes of "winning" or "losing" desirable to the people of the USA?

The answers are pretty obvious.

Cui bono?

If the investments are being made to shape the societies of the USA in to a certain form what will those societies look like? Is that a "selfish" question? My answer is no. Its stupid to do things where there are no winners.

Once the path of war is finalized questions regarding outcomes become very hard to ask as they are perceived as contrary to the interest of the military personnel who put their ass on the line. The only realistic time to ask these questions is now.

Someone kicks you in the nuts. Wow that really hurts! But they are my pal! It must be my fault. Classic abuse/victim psychology.

What would fith generation warfare look and feel like? Lots of fear, division and uncertainty with periods of relative calm inbetween? The periods of calm are important to the abuse as a whole. Ultimately the goal of all methodical and systematic abuse is to break spirit or force behavior.

Man it sure would suck to live in Israel in fear of hamas descending on you.
Man it sure would suck to live in gaza being bombed all the time.

What do both of these presented models supposedly in opposition create? Is there intent here?

Except the terrorist/even civilian "Palestinian" half of that will NEVER "abide". There will always be a full-Jihad mindset of this group, as in leadership of Iran.

Israel will prevail (for a few years, oh, maybe 3.5) because there will be a new Treaty in the coming future, brokered by one person at the UN/WEF. Note that person. Take that to the bank.

China has deployed a naval special operations task force group to the eastern Mediterranean and the Gaza coast:

The Chinese Peoples' Liberation Army has deployed six warships of the 44th Naval Escort Task Force to the Gaza region in the light of reports that Hamas is not allowing foreign nationals to leave the Gaza Strip through Egypt. The warships include the fully armed and equipped Type 052-D guided missile frigate 'Zibo', a slightly smaller version of the Type 054-A Jiangkai battle frigate. Both classes of warship, under full armament, carry a wide range of thermobaric and conventional cruise missiles like the YJ-62 long range ramjet as well as Dongfeng-17 precision satellite guided hypersonic orbital reentry warheads. Along with the Zibo is the military freighter Qiandaohu, a huge supply and logistics ship with a full facility onboard hospital and emergency surgery capability. The Qiandaohu is also used as a mass evacuation transport that is capable of carrying over 1000 passengers and had been used in this role during the 2015 Operation Red Sea, when the PLA Naval Special Operations Task Force rescued over 250 foreign nationals from 20 countries from war torn Yemen.

don't forget about piercings... you'd think everybody would appreciate a jacob's ladder.
edit - I thought it was around 90%; but I guess it's 77.
"A new study from the Pentagon shows that 77% of young Americans " - It's gone from 71 (2017) to 77% (2023) ...
I bet it's higher than 77..

Kinda reminds of BLM protest

* FAFO , dude in that Ford seems a slightly confused old fart with a bag of groceries on his passenger seat that is suddenly facing a lynch mob

Issue labeled and boxed along political identification boxes which are very close to ideal for conflict 50/50 population..
Victim status enhanced.
Rage blindly transferred from issue to division/polarity.
They couldn't get a race war started maybe a religious war wil do the trick.
Its like watching someone who is good run a pool table.
This is how they ditch biden and bring in big mike.

The implications are incalculable. China has proposed a middle east peace plan and is backing it with force. They are presenting themselves as the only power capable of being arbitrary. This argument is particularly acute do to Chinas non association with Abrahamic religions. Whats at stake is BRICS legitimacy. Saudis declaration that yuan is their preferred currency is backed. China sees a chance and is taking it. They weigh risk very seriously. They will have considered all contingencies. Their statement "We agree with Russia in this matter the solution is a separate palestinian state as per UN resolutions" Two of the three super powers have formed an alliance. Fifth generation war rages internally in the USA.

Putin starts running mig-31s in the black sea with nuclear capable hypersonics 24-7. You remember the black sea everyone right? That little body of water that the carrier groups came closer to moving to the east Mediterranean. thats how it goes from here on out. Russia shows up China shows up filing fingernails. China shows up Russia shows up filing fingernails.

Shoes sure drop fast nowadays.

Coincidentally 2024 is the year of the dragon in the Chinese calendar.

Well that's not going to increase tensions in the region, nope, not at all! Looks like Xi wants to go head to head with Obamas... er....ummm I mean Bidens Navy.

He can't keep getting away with this!

Side note, I wonder what the food on a Chinese warship is like.

Buffet style. Main difference from US ships is that the PLA onboard kitchens need a special section containing giant rice cookers that keep steamed rice on hand 24/7. In the event of an emergency, four handfuls of rice wrapped in a waxpaper satchel would be thrown to each servicemember as a 24 hour sustenance in addition to any MREs in stock. That applies to both land and sea. Everything else is pretty much similar across all of the 1st level nations of the world...

ETA: The "rice ration training", a series of grueling tasks, simunitions combat exercises, armored vehicle operations, and infiltration/evacuation missions conducted over a 24 hour period is a mandatory trial period required for all PLA land, sea and air recruits to pass the training phase and given their official ranks as service personnel in the PLA. During the course of this 24 hour period, all personnel will only function on the 4 handfuls of rice they are given at the beginning.

Chinas military has yet to be tested.

Truly tested.

This...

The last major conventional war fought by the PLA was the Sino-Vietnamese War of 1978-1981. And the PLA got bled very badly. The leadership at first thought that it would be a repeat of the 1962 war against India. Slap, dash, all units back home within a week. In Shanghai and other major cities, massive posters and roll murals went up showing paintings of victorious PLA troops garnished with floral wreaths coming back from the battlefield, their pristine new rifles and heavy equipment gleaming in the sunlight, trucks, tanks, MRLS launchers also wreathed in flowers. Parents of young recruits were informed by personal telephone calls from regiment and brigade commanders that their sons will return unharmed in a week once the "Viets were thoroughly vanquished".

The beginning of the actual ground force advance across the Guangxi border into Vietnam was compounded by disaster after disaster. First, the newer Type-56 rifles that were supposed to be already at the staging areas for the troops that were to spearhead the advance did not get there in time. The advance units had to open the local Peoples' Defense Militia arsenals which were still filled with World War II weapons and most of the initial assault forces received old Japanese WWII Type 38 Arisaka bolt action rifles and roughly 30 cartridges per man. While the leadership in Beijing was engaged in heated fights with the logistics commanders about why the standard issue Type-56 assault rifles had not reached the front yet, the assault force already in Vietnam got a full taste of the same ruthless guerrilla warfare that the Viets had inflicted on the Americans just 6 years earlier. And these battle hardened Vietnamese fighters practically bled the first PLA assault units dry. Worse was that those Arisaka rifles issued to the advance line troops still had cumbersome dust covers on their bolts, and as the PLA troops struggled to chamber cartridges and shoot in the storm of M-16 and AK-47 fire that the Viets were raining upon them, these dust covers made a distinct racket when the bolts were being operated. Vietnamese snipers and RPG men simply identified where the sound was coming from through the dense jungle growth, and fired straight through the leaves at the source of the sound, with lethal precision. On top of the chaos already taking place, the PLAAF bomber squadrons tasked with taking out Viet positions from the air got mixed coordinates and some of their bombs struck their own lines, adding to the rapidly mounting casualties.

By the end of the first week, most of the initial assault troops did make it back home, in bodybags. The PLA suffered 5,000 to 10,000 casualties in the first month of the war alone. The main armored columns and logistics convoys finally arrived at the front at the end of Week 2, and with tanks and MRLS systems in full deployment, the odds for the PLA started improving, but the Vietnamese army had also dug in along the route that the incursion was to travel, and an incredibly bloody stalemate marked the rest of the year of active fighting. The war did not officially end until 1981 when the PLA returned most of their holdings in north Vietnam back to it's owners after the signing of almost a year of vague terms. The PLA suffered up to 20,000 casualties. The numbers were greatly reduced by the PRC official propaganda channels and for a while, people were not even allowed to talk about the war. Soldiers returning home were instructed to not share any details of their experience with anyone. Both my aunt in Shanghai and my mother living in the same luongtang (apartment block street) received official PRC national seal stamped letters from Beijing informing them that all mail domestic as well as going abroad would be read by military intelligence, every piece of mail, and if any mention were made of the war or to discuss the politics behind the war, they will be subject to a very heavy fine and imprisonment up to 2 years. Everybody received these letters periodically for the next 5 years.

China is a paper tiger, it's rife with corruption at every level. If China entered a war, and all of those only sons start coming back in body bags, Xi is gonna be politically fucked.

Can't wait as well to see those J20 engines seaze up from cheep parts. Some of Jane's analyst's have not had favorable things to report on Chinese hardware.

It's all moot however if they are willing to deploy a nuke out of fear we would resort to that first.

too bad half the country is controlled by extremists (we armed and trained), so we probably don't even know who is attacking.

Naaah fuck that shit B... That would have led to sudden and incredible levels of violence inflicted on the SOB school official giving out these notices if the victims were inner city black and Hispanic. A jaw would have been broken at the very least and a mouthful of blood and teeth. And that is at the very least of what a black/Hispanic parent would do to somebody ordering them to "shut up" about something like that happening to their children...

I'm linking a very interesting video on the capabilities of Israel's Iron Dome system. I'll link the whole video below but I'll cut to the chase and post a link towards the end of the video that really struck home.

Imagine you're sitting outside on a nice night cooking on the grill and you look up and see this (queued short clip) :

WTF would be the least of my reaction. It's like fucking Star Wars! And these is what the Israelis have to put up with because of one thing, and one thing only - political correctness - which comes from pressure from the bigger powers that don't have to worry about that happening to them, us included by the by.

If this was happening over your backyard you'd think "fuck political correctness" bomb them to the stone age. Which is exactly what happened in WWII at great cost - casualties for the US 8th air force alone were more than 47,000.

So, what would we do if we saw what was going on in the video above? We would flatten everything the enemy has. Sadly, the population of non combatants included. Back in those days, as far as we were concerned, all Germans were Nazis, etc.

Israel needs to finish the job, and we should not interfere with that. Let them do what they feel is best FOR THEM. It's really cute, thinking from our government's POV, sitting in a continent 1000's of miles away from any enemy and so pushing PR appeasement doctrine to the Israelis when their enemies are only a fence away.

It's downright asinine.

Link to the full video from the link above - which is quite interesting:

Ok.

I laughed at that.

A whole 24 hrs.

A near constant war zone like that, and no crowds actually storming government buildings and dragging out cowardly officials by their shirt collars for daring to deny the people complete concealed carry and ownership of as many weapons as they feel they need to be secure... It is completely appalling and unfathomable. It would be like choosing to set up and live in a yurt in a place that gets hit with multiple hurricanes every year, sometimes back to back Category 5 storms within a span of weeks, with minimal provisions and no way of leaving in advance of coming storms, and then smugly telling those who are trying to warn you that you are "completely fine and everything will be all right"...

”As a Democrat who has been left homeless, who is now definitely in the center but probably leaning increasingly right, I am left yet again with an appreciation, despite the messenger, of the message of the Trump administration because what those guys did was pretty incredible in hindsight.” “So much of the work that happened in that [Trump] administration turns out to have been right. And that’s what is so frustrating for me. The work on the border wall? We didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message. Turned out it was right. Issuing long-term debt to refinance when rates were at zero? We didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message. A structural peace in the Middle East? We didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message.”

As people are all up in arms at damage inflicted in Gaza by those horrible Israeli's, make sure you share this picture of the damage inflicted by....

The Islamic Jihad organization. On our Marine Barracks exactly 40 years ago. 241 Marines there as peacekeeprs were killed. That's whats left of the barracks above. Oh and at the same time, they hit the French Para's and killed 60 French peacekeepers.

Yup, a Palestinian terror organization supported by Iran.

Still feeling sorry for the Palestinians? Who did this?

Dunce cap. How about you atone for all the damage you've done to not only this country, but the world as a result of you pushing your woke agenda.

Get after it, let me know how you're progressing, then we can talk. Maybe.

You have work to do. There are no free passes. You have done a lot of damage and you don't get to automatically go to the head of the line. Pay your dues, you have hurt a lot of people. Defenseless people.

No refunds. Somebody needs to tell her that she only "woke up" because something bad happened to HER and affected HER personal life and interests. For years prior as a journalist she had seen so many countless other lives ruined by woke policies. People killed by being pushed in front of subway trains by deranged violent offenders with rap sheets longer than Route 66. Grandmothers trying to bring holiday food to their kids being attacked with canes or having feces smeared on them by mentally ill bums on the train. Countless innocent people injured or killed by violent repeat offenders who had been let back out onto the streets time and time again. And a whole lot more. How did she feel then? Didn't give a fuck. Because it did not affect HER. Her reaction is no different to a pedophile caught in a sting operation breaking down and crying upon being confronted by three guys with cameras and flashlights in their faces. They are only crying because THEY got caught and THEIR lives are going to be ruined, not crying because they were about to permanently ruin the lives of who they thought was an innocent child. Fuck them. That bitch is 'homeless' huh? I have some advice for her: The Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center subway station in downtown Brooklyn is always warm throughout the year. Stay on the N, D, R platform as that is the deepest and warmest level. And at night the MTA's diesel MOW work train units stage there so it gets quite toasty even during the winter. Find a fucking bench and make yourself comfortable. There is wifi too and you can charge your stupid laptop upstairs in the transfer mezzanine where the janitors plug in their electric floor zambonis. You want food? Go pimp yourself out in the mezzanine too. Plenty of guys will give you $40 for a quick blow n' go before they go catch the Long Island Railroad trains on the other side of the station complex. You can suck them off right there in the middle of the mezzanine. Nobody's going to give a fuck.

100%, but it is still gratifying (to me) to see people realize they have been fucking idiots.

Kinda reminds of BLM protest

* FAFO , dude in that Ford seems a slightly confused old fart with a bag of groceries on his passenger seat that is suddenly facing a lynch mob

The stinking goatfuckers will do this every time. Now I wonder if this old man was one of the many Minnesota democrats who voted for the politicians that let these savages in our country.

If so, no refunds.

Nice Tits.

She sounds like a Nazi apologizing for the concentration camps.
And only apologizing now that shes been snatched up and taken as a POW - or in her case, now that she realizes the utopia she thought the libs could create if they just were able to get rid of a few old bigots only to find out they plan to line her up on the wall for execution right next to those "bigots" she railed against and cheered on to be destroyed...

Nonetheless, we need all the help we can get.. so overall I agree with @theLBC that a popular mainstream voice like her coming to our side is definitely not a bad thing. Certainly a bit late.. but better late than never I reckon

And when the wind begins to blow in the other direction she will be unfurling her sails to take her back into lala land.
