Wow thanks for posting that channel. Listening to it felt like hearing an audio version of EXACTLY how one of these old telegraph based news wire services would crank out major developments around 1890 to about 1949 right up to the dawn of the television era. New York City had entire office buildings at that time dedicated to receiving wire news from all around the world. Each floor in the building would be designated to receive transmissions sent from a certain part of the country or the world. Europe would be covered by an entire floor. East Asia, another floor. Southeast Asia, another floor, and so on. For the US and Canada, floors had offices divided by timezones. Each office had cubicles containing one telegraph receiver and a typewriter. The transcriber would listen to the messages coming via Morse code and then type them out in the typewriter. They had to be EXTREMELY fast as on a busy news day, messages would be coming in nonstop and the typewritten transcripts must keep pace with the inflow of messages and be on point in accuracy. The corridors were blanketed with countless trunks of cables leading into every office. Because of the sheer amount of machinery all running at the same time in the place, wire service buildings were hot, cramped, and musty. All available space, even ledges on rare windows, would be used to store reams of fresh typing paper and typewriter ink, spare text blocks etc. Workers shoving around carts would carry stack after stack of typewritten transcripts to filing offices in other parts of the building where they are organized, boxed, labeled, and then shipped by couriers riding the subway or by truck to newspaper companies that signed up to work with the wire service.

And then there were those with unique talents that every wire agency sought after. They were called "double men", and it describes EXACTLY what you are thinking: These operators can handle TWO machines at the same time. Listening to two receivers and using two typewriters, each one to a receiver, and keeping pace with information coming out of them at the same time. This was how the news was covered and transmitted before TV and Internet.

no duh. if they started planning this 3 years ago, you think they didn't send them already?

Who hasn’t been talking, tweeting and posting on the web about this for years? It’s made its way into congressional hearings even. This tweet/X posting is just fear mongering on the latest squirrel distraction. Here’s an idea: stop tweeting about it, shut down the border and deport everyone that isn’t a citizen. If they are truly dangerous, send the to prison or Gitmo.

This alert is stupid and a fear mongering tactic for the simple minded.

I probably don't agree with much of what Glen Beck says but there are some interesting thoughts here. I wouldn't doubt if Iran had a nuke or two. Now if Israel did get nuked there would be no way to avoid WW3, especially now that China in its infinite wisdom has decided to show up and make things just that much worse. I'm betting they don't want their oil supply to be jeopardized.

You should do well to watch it with open mind especially around 30min mark forward if your attention span is measured in seconds....
But not knowing this stuff kind of disqualifies one of valid opinion on world politics and state of affairs in the world...

Glenn Beck did a good job hiding his hard-on while talking about bombing Iran.

Conservatives need to be very, very careful about tapping into that 2003 energy and running it back a second time.

The current Israel is so far from what Jesus taught
Worth stating again.

Though the entire world falls into this category.

THOUGH THE ENTIRE WORLD FALLS INTO THIS CATEGORY!

Think about how far away we are from His teachings and the ramifications that awaits us in the form of His wrath that will be poured upon the world.

Ok.

That’s my biblical contribution for today.

So I have heard 2 different stories about Jordan now.

Version 1:

Palestinians entering Jordan is a red line.

Version 2:

Palestinians being removed from Gaza is a red line.

These are 2 extremely different things.

Anyone have any reliable intel on which it actually is?

Surprising or not IDF seems to be going through the same lack of PP equipment as the Russians did.So after raiding all the military surplus and tactical stores buying from China followed . Cargo jets full of privately sourced gear is being brought to Israel at this time.

And no surprise they are hustling US and European pensioners with various Christian charities for these donations. Where is the Billionaire class? Probably making good money on supplying Chicom stuff at inflated prices to said Christian charities.

They just released another batch of 9000 privately supplied plates after batch testing them. Chicom stuff rules but there is a bunch of defective stuff as well.

IDF GI looks as poorly equipped as he is trained (no offense to the local strip mall guy, that is selling IDF self-defense classes) .

so 80's IDF reservist standard issue , ' it seems all that US and European miltary aid over past decades is spent on big ticket items not GI's

No helmet, no vest, no gloves, no water, no IFAK, no red dot or scope, no pistol, no chest rig. and looks like street shoes.

Not sure how much ammo he has but might be two more 20 round mags. And I don't see grenades. Or a pack to carry ammo for machine guns in his squad.

I wonder how old that AR is. Might be a 5 MOA rifle at this point.

I did not see a lot of reservists, dead or alive, or civvies, with body armor, in the various videos from the 7th. I did see RA with it.

I did see a lot of Hamas with optics and lots of ammo and rpgs/grenades.

That's a death sentence for dudes like the above if Hamas use tactics and leverage overmatch.

I also saw a lot of dead IDF in partial kit with no shell casings or discarded mags around them. I wonder if the base they were at had the weapons in an arms rooms rather than with the soldiers.

This is the picture that sticks with me. A four year old kid snoozing in bed on a weekend shot. Screaming for mom and dad with his bloody hands trying to get up.

SO FUCK anyone who tries to justify this. They and anyone who justifies it would do the same thing to my kids. OR ANY kids. You are a monster.

The West is waking up. This time has the feel of the mid 1930s when people who admired Hitler and Stalin and Mussolini or who were snowed by the propaganda, began to see through it. And began to pick sides. But it's also the time before we realized we needed unconditional surrender. This book captures that time period in the 30s well.

Don’t act like the US military hands aren’t dirty. If you are gonna call out atrocities committed then at least be honest about it. These terror cells combined don’t add up the numbers of civilians killed by USA operations. It’s all equally disgusting and neither are justifiable.

people forget, It was Obama that killed an American citizen without a trial.
biden and Killary appear to love drone strikes on innocent people.
Killary, 'Can't we just drone him?'
Biden -killed a whole INNOCENT family

They need to learn what the term genocide means.

There is no genocide happening. The people were given the opportunity to evacuate and are being held there by Hamas.

If anything Hamas is responsible fir the deaths of the people they are hiding behind.

Instead of taking on all of gaza why not just turn the L perimeter into a fat U taking control of the Egypt border? The tunnels under the border could be addressed. They are going to have to do this anyway. Things like drones and para glideres could be interdicted. As long as long as contraband flows across that border there is going to be problems. The materials for the home brew rockets could be interdicted. Food and other harmless items could be allowed. The basic plan they had seems to be sound to me with a large flaw the largely unrestricted flow of contraband across the gaza/egypt border. The AI didnt notice when all their eyes went blind at once? Where did hamas get all their intel about everything? Theres a big ass leak somewhere. All this is going to have to be done anyway. I hear a lot of commentary "we dont know what went wrong only time will reveal that". Instead of addressing the failure of the perimeter and making appropriate changes you abandon the whole idea? What is the end game here? True occupation of gaza with patrols? Israel really wants to take that on?

Theres going to have to be a secure perimeter. Saying well we tried and it didnt work is a denial of the failure that occurred. They have payback-in spades. So what exactly is the end game? Do they even know? Even if they do a sweep that border has to be addressed. Its open right now, hamas could be resupplying via the tunnels and egypt right now. Why bail the boat without fixing the leak?

The security problem that gaza represents is going to have to be addressed by a cohesive and ongoing effort, That effort takes resources and that resource drain has to be minimized. The resource drain to provide security is also a threat to Israel. One the best ways to minimize the threat and the resource consumtion it requires is to keep gaza happy. They are doing the exact opposite, They are creating radicalized islam fighters for decades to come by their carpet bombing. The obvious conclusion is they want security problems to continue because the Israelis are far from stupid. Very conveniant to bibis declaring himself supreme ruler and likuds reign.

Leaving that border open justifys doing what they want when it is obviously a security issue.

Open borders not good for security and safety. Good for doing what you want after security failures.

yea its better to have the gate closed so the cow doesnt get out. If you leave it open after the cow gets out you want the cow getting out.

Yup WW3 and eternal martial law is way preferable to secure borders. Everyone knows that. Because secure borders are just plain wrong. koombyah

That’s what terrorist do.

I’ve never seen a American’s put explosives in a kids rectum, and run the kid out into a US patrol…
…can you guess who I have seen do that? They were called al Qaeda back then, but same people doing the same shit, for the same reasons.

People might tin hat the whole “9/11 was an inside job thing,” but….the reports and the flights that failed to be over taken were NOT by run of the mill Americans…Boston bombing, etc.

These people do not grow up like you do. They do not think like you do. Since the time they learn to walk they are raised to hate the west and anyone that claims to be an ally.

I don’t know how this has anything to do with the comment of mine that you quoted.

yep, israel is screwed. prob collapse even before the USA and w.europe. they have a reasonable excuse for sterilizing gazza and the west bank. even if they wanted to,had the ability and the means, they can't fight off the whole arab world even if egypt and jordan abstain. open mobile warfare that they were superior at can't beat millions. russians beat the maybe best army ever with mass, superior supply and disregard for casualties. if they back off, these attacks will escalate as this one will have worked it;s goal.
if US joined in,wouldn't matter. like mcgregor says, our military is a shadow of '91. america is NOT going to tolerate casualties at this level. besides,we will be needing to combat the taliban, hamas, chinese and cartel fighters already imported by our progressive rulers.
i just do not understand why biden would even think about aiding israel. his boss is a terrorist enabling muslim.
the WMD option for either the US or israel = end of all civilization.

Well then here’s a reminder.
Terrorist hiding behind civilians, children, whoever.
I never said that isn’t happening. I don’t doubt it for a second and this wasn’t my argument at all.

I won’t be convinced that the trigger puller isn’t just as responsible for the deaths of the hostages as the hostage takers themselves. And to your earlier post, I won’t be convinced that plenty of soldiers in the US military, ass well as all the others, aren’t guilty of committing atrocities in wartime themselves. Rape, torture, murder. It’s wrong no matter who participates.
