Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

The problem isn’t completely the manufacturers fault. No one buys a plain Jane work pickup everyone needs all the new electronic bullshit.
No one really makes those though. No new trucks are coming with crank windows, manual locks, rubber floors etc. Everything is loaded. Trucks are way bigger and way heavier than they used to be, and all the options are partly to blame.

Crank windows make it too hard to throw the empty beer bottles out.
have to hook shot empties over the top of the cab.

ATTN folks in the South: WATCH OUT for tornadoes in December. The last several consecutive Decembers had seen killer, long track F5 tornadoes devastate many regions. It seems like December is a mini-season for killer supercell storms with the area from Tennessee to Mississippi being the dry line where those storms form. Gotta be that first influx of polar air from the north hitting still-hot tropical air rolling in from the Gulf.

Thats nice. We had a similar homestead in Virginia built in 1840. Solid hand hewn 14" oak walls that laid flush against each other, very little chinking needed. It was added onto over the years and you could see each rook different over the years. I had the upstairs room and the fireplace sent heat right up the staircase.

The stone chimney wast as nice though. As a stone mason compliments to the mason. Beautiful work. Where is this, it should be saved.

I'm inclined to think this was staged because there isn't any blood on the clothing where the doctor is treating him. On the other hand, both duelists are left-handed.

I don't think that is because the film negative was reversed. Look at the watch chains of the some of the participants. The chains are worn on the right side, which was fashionable for the day.

Notice that right before he squeezes the trigger, the man in the background turns his head away. So even if this was a real duel, it looks like the ball would have entered the other man's left side.

The man in the foreground lifts his pistol and ends up firing over the head of his opponent.

It's too bad dueling is illegal. A lot of problems would be solved and people would watch what they say and do.
