name the disease? Brucellosis is and has been in the wild, it's a reproductive disease only...

Had to stoke up the fire and got some ash in my eyes... Dang it.
Saw one a while back pretty similar. It was in Italy. A guy died and they held his funeral at the local church... His dog had been there for the service and every day the dog went to mass and looked for his master. He would go up the aisle and lay on the floor in front of the priest and stay until the service was over.
The man had no family so everyone in town just stepped up and cared for the dog.
