This was a scheduled flight operated by an airline with a Commercial pilot with an ATP rating.
But even if it were a Private pilot, what "antics" are you referring to? And why would they not be innocent in accident due to a mechanical failure forcing an emergency landing?

There's a video that's been posted here a few times of one of them who goes off when they figure out that they've been setup and the whole thing was fake. Somehow they/he figured it out while it was happening. I can't find the video but he is very vocal about it.

Whenever the feds come into another city and request local law enforcement support does anyone think the local police officers can ever trust them?

How many do you think are paying attention to any of the revelations coming out? Maybe 1%?
Why do you think that it's taken years for this to come out? A majority already have been indoctrinated to the insurrection narrative. The age old, deny deny, ignore and then, "that's old news" is a great tactic for the low attention span population.

Flew 2 minutes and landed on a busy highway. No regard for innocent people on the ground. Pilot's #1 thought was to save his / her ass....
# 1 cause of crashes is pilot error.
Getting worse by the day.
DEI creating more issues.

NY Post saying how Anna Wintour, the 80 year old billionaire powerhouse exec of Vogue, which Pitchfork is under, never even took off her sunglasses as she personally delivered the message in the conference room laying off EVERY staff member at Pitchfork... OOOOOOF. 😂

I would strongly disagree with you on this particular incident.

The pilot was not only responsible for his life, but also his passengers.

Satellite images show houses and trees everywhere else. Landing there would have certainly killed someone on board, maybe even on the ground.

Looks like he was low, just after takeoff, so he didn't have much time to react and decide.

I don't read that he hit any cars, so the highway must not have been too full of traffic.

It's certainly possible someone screwed up somewhere, but I would hold off pushing blame until we have more info about what caused the emergency.

I'm just saying don't jump to conclusions.

And you know this how? Pretty much everything you've said is easily disproven just by reading the article you posted.
What about the pilot's regard for the innocent paying passengers in the back? And he put it on the highway without a single injury to anyone, yet it sure put a bee up your bonnet. Since you clearly don't know, the #1 cause of accidents in aviation is weather. Pilots certainly are responsible for quite a few, and DEI will certainly increase that number. However, in this accident, there is no evidence to suggest that at this time.

Whatever was wrong - the plane only climbed to 1000’ and got to 100 or so mph before it had to land. It wasn’t going to stay in the air all the way back to the airport. I would say: ”Great Job Getting it down without injuries!”

I don’t usually argue with idiots but as I’m both a pilot and A&P as are both my brothers and and our father was a 747 captain with thousand of hours I will make n exception……the pilot is trained to find a landing spot with maximum survivability for both passengers and people on the ground…….it seems he did that…..
