Very true

I think that the F-20, which is based on the F-5 series, should have been put into service along side the F-16.

Quick thought came to mind.

Neither was “best” at anything but it was a good plane that could be made in numbers and was maintained easily.

But to make it a winner you had to be a pilot.

The wildcat wasn’t best of anything at its most operational time but good pilots new how to win with it.

It was probably lazy thinking -we will have to flight train and dogfight too much, just give them the future - stand off capability and all they have to do is fly the missile to within range.

I’m guessing the instructors in the aggressor team at places like top gun “smoke” a lot of students in later generation fighters flying these.

Disclaimer - I am not a pilot and don’t know shit. Just theorizing.

Three motivational pictures of an old refrigerator.

I'm defrosting the old Westinghouse today. It's a 53
I put a new vintage door seal on it. It is mediocre at best. Any idea for a better seal?
I need something pre-bent. I soaked this one in boiling water and then installed while still hot but it still didn't like it.
Maybe something to put inside the seal to make it more substantial in the bends. A small foam stick. Like a pool noodle but the side of a straw.......
