Have owned and/or used them all.

The TV remote has metal rods inside that were struck when you pressed the button each making a unique ultrasonic sound to mess with the power/channel/volume ... no batteries ever, a modern tree huggers wet dream. The origin of the term "clicker" because that's all you heard was the click.

If you jingled your keys in front of the TV it would change channels or turn off and on like it was possessed.

Made a dorm room stretching pull tab chain. However, remember, I was attending a Presbyterian Christian boarding school, so they made me take it down. Being 100% donor supported they were understandably a bit touchy about appearances.

Now, that we‘ve gotten the pull tabs squared away, who remembers a church key. (Much less the vaunted P-38).

I have been carrying a P-38 on my key ring for more than 40 years . . . and use it almost every day.

I found some at an Army/Navy store an gave one to every scout in my troop. No Sh!t, a local troop had a kerfuffel with the Council Representatives because the grub-master didn’t think/know to bring a can opener on a campout. None of those boys go anywhere without a P38, Leatherman, or Swiss Army Knife now.

Funny how now the master cylinder doesn't look like it's trying not to fall off a cliff by pointing downwards at that funny angle it used to.....before I told you that shit was ass backwards.

But they would definitely break a nail.........

I used my house key to pop them.

It was a bad marketing ploy not only for their poor design but it forced you to drink slower.

Either drinking from the can or pouring in the glass it slowed things down. Last thing they need if the goal is to get a second or third can in your gut.
