The system is the punishment. So what if they win a multi million dollar judgement. They still did the time in jail and the time and expenses to go through the crooked judicial system. Probably multiple appeals to finally get justice many years down the road. No one will be punished for screwing them over and the taxpayers get to foot the bill.

I have been following the lawyer on this case, Robert Barnes, for a while. He explained how qualified immunity doesn’t always shield state actors if they do something outside the scope of their employment and I think he’s going to sue the them personally.
Pennsylvania needs this. Their department of agriculture is out of control. They’re persecuting the Amish over their food sales. Now they’re going after animal husbandry services. They need to be bitch slapped.
The local DA finds that they were acting within their boundaries and doesn't do anything. They then have to get their lawyers to file. After the judge handcuffs their attorney and they lose they appeal. And the appeals go on and on. Maybe a few years later and they have wasted a good portion of their life and finances they win. But did they really win? Are they living their life, spending time with family and friends or sitting in lawyers offices, courts and spending a fortune. There's only so much time between birth and death and instead of living they are dealing with a tyrannical government.
The only winners are the lawyers.
