If a woman is at home and she's getting smacked around, she calls 911 and orders a pizza. The dispatcher gets all her info, address, etc., and then the cops show up.
Beautiful Wisconsin weather this evening, and the skeeters have diminished to not a problem. View down my driveway today taking the dog for a walk.

Very clever and ingenious way to get the right help to vulnerable people and it has been used to get children out of kidnapping and human trafficking situations too. The case that stood out the most was a quick thinking Georgia or South Carolina operator who was IMMEDIATELY on cue, telling the woman to say "pepperoni" if the guy who had her captive had a weapon and "mushrooms" if he was unarmed. It was the former, the unhinged dude had a gun but it turned out to be airsoft after they got him cuffed. Operator got community awards for his wit and reaction speed.

Been times I wished. They’ve got some Booners out there, but alas, no hunting allowed.
The western/central bits of Northern IL have some excellent deer hunting. It’s no Pike County, but we do quite well.
This guy was all over my property a few years ago. Life had me miss a few opportunities (Halloween weekend had him 12 yards up-wind from my favorite bow stand multiple times, if I hadn’t been out Trick or Treating with the kids), and a neighbor tagged him during early season the following year.
I think this guy is a guy on this forum…showing us how he searches for memes

I've seen it happen. Apparently, "ordering a pizza" with LE is code for "Send Help immediately but I can't say 'Send help immediately' because they're listening."
Sort of like when we refer to a certain ethnicity as "Amish."
If they are amish, do you order a bucket of fried chicken?
