Wild Bill Hickok would approve of that level of shooting there. Not exactly a quick draw but he was on cue with the escalating threat level, prepared for it and reacted appropriately. Note when the would-be victim drew his gun he turned the other side of his body towards the approaching threat so the tango would not see what he was doing on his carry/draw side, giving him the advantage of being 1-2 seconds ahead of the game.
