I ordered on 3/7/24 so I am hoping by the end of October with the delays they have had to ensure quality. Fingers crossed. My rifle will be ready this coming week so it would be nice to complete the entire thing by the end of the month.
I have the Magnus RR SR on order but thinking about moving to CB and possibly Magnus-S. Mainly shoot PRS but I really wanted maximum recoil reduction AND maximum suppression. I always have earpro on even suppressed.
I’ll be shooting 6 dasher with 26” and thinking the length will be way too much.
1. CB ok for PRS?
2. S vs Full size with dasher what do we think the db will be? For 6.5cm the full size said 129db and S was 137db. Assume a couple lower?

I have a Magnus sr on 28 inch dasher it is so pleasant to shoot but it’s too long. I would go S and probably hub or cb. The sr is nice and an extra insurance that it will not back off but I don’t know if it’s really needed plus finding extra brakes can be tough.
I only really shoot one day matches so take it for what it’s worth.
Last 2 years I used a Magnus on a 26 and 22” 6 creed. 26” it was too much, 22” was tolerable.
Mine is a CB. Zero issues with CB in those two barrels.
Iv got a K RR CB on order. I’m wearing at minimum plugs and depending how close I am to shooters with brakes I’m doubled up with muffs. Next year I’m hoping to use this suppressor on a 24” dasher. Will be a dedicated match suppressor.
An S RR CB is on my list for something that can go both ways and still have enough suppression that I wouldn’t mind taking it hunting.
1) I like the SR mount the most of any system I've tried and will continue to use it wherever offered. HUB w/ Rearden parts is a distant second. (Great company, good design - just isn't quite the same as those coarse threads and secondary lock).
2) IMO, something like a 24” barrel with a Dominus is getting pretty clumsy, so I really can't imagine the full-length Magnus-RR with a longer-yet barrel. If one is going to be wearing earpro anyways, I'd recommend a shorter can like the K-RR.

Ultralight, Ti, adds virtually zero length or weight to the can, precision made.
Update: Submitted individual eform 4 on 10/9/24 and just received the approval today, 10/16/24. 7 days for approval which included a Federal holiday (Columbus Day). Perfect timing for a range trip I already have planned for this weekend.I ordered a Magnus RR from Mile High Shooting on 6/12/24. It arrived there on 10/9/24. By the time I get it in my hands it will be over 4 months. I was originally told it would probably arrive in June or July.
Moved the Magnus RR-K to my backup gun. After a 2 day match and a few other outtings, it simply does not perform like a close competitor on the market. The measurable difference between reticle movement between the two is over 1.2-1.4 mils in both vertical and horizontal movement (for example: other braked suppressor has a 0.6 mil rise on a 525 yard target. The Magnus was almost 2 mils on the same target). IMHO, it needs a different brake design with a flat bottom to prevent gas from 'lifting' the gun. (And yes, I ran it 9/3 and 12/6 configuration).
However, it works really well on magnum cartridges. Really, really well... Likely due to the amount of gas produced.
With that said, I'm still waiting for my Ultra 338 RR.

Have you shot a match with a non brake suppressor? And if so how would you compare the K/maverick to that?
Iv been shooting suppressed the last few years with really no desire to go back to a brake. Just curious on your thoughts, Iv got a k RR on order currently.
Yes, I have several other TBACs (338, Dominus, Ultras), KGM (R6), SiCo, etc. the RR-K outperforms any non-braked suppressor by a lot.

I agree with everything @NiteQwill has said. I have a Tbac Dominus, K-RR, KGM R6, I don’t have a mavrick but I have shot one a few times.
In my opinion the
KGM R6 with the top of the apex system open feels like a normal suppressor (slow push recoil impulse) but the muzzle is directed down.
K-RR feels like a break (sharper recoil impulse) but you have to work a little harder to control the muzzle because it doesn’t direct the muzzle down. It’s way better than a non-breaked can.
The maverick feels like a break (sharper recoil impulse) and drives the muzzle down due to the break design.
I think with the mavrick and r6 having less internal volume the smaller BR cartridges have enough gas to get them working.
I enjoy running my K-RR on my 6.5 creedmoor. The K-RR looks the best.
It just depends on how you want your recoil impulse to feel. I personally would like the break to direct the gas up but i know the break is probably designed to work with a large array of cartridges. Not just non magnum short action cartridges.

Does Thunder Beast produce a flow through/ low back pressure suppressor? I keep lookin and don’t see one. Wouldn’t surprise me to have missed it, but does one exist?

Shot my 300 PRC rifle with the full size Magnus RR installed last weekend. Worked exactly as advertised. Very quiet and also reduced recoil quite a bit. Very happy with it! I'll try to get some video of it in action this weekend.
Oh buddy, I just checked status and my serial number is pending. Should be shipped to my LGS any day now I imagine.
Mine will be done mid summer 2025 via TBAC. I ordered in early August 2024.

Why? Bags work just fine for what I do...Maybe need a serious bipod and rear bag
She liked it well enough she hit steel on every first shot at 100/600/1000.
It definitely helped her feel more confident. Granted it's a heavy gun too so that helped for sure as well.
Magnus RR-K is tons of fun on magnum cartridges. Can shoot all day. Good for me, bad for my wallet (barrel life).

Recoil. It's still loud. But not brake loud.
The ports are facing 12/6 because, honestly, they don't work well 3/6.
