This deserves its own thread.
years ago at my first job we had someone raiding peoples lunches in the community fridge in the break room. One guy had some leftovers he left out for several days and then through it in the fridge. It didn't take long to figure out who it was.
And the survey says….

New old stock,points, cap rotor and condenser can be had for about $10.
I’m talking old stock US made parts can be literally had for pennies on the dollar.

I took my 66 Oldsmobile to the transmission shop. For some idiotic reason they turned the key to the run position when the engine was off. The points were closed!! I spent a long hot July day rewiring and planning on how to get away with torturing and killing a retard. And yes I replaced the resistive wire with a Chrysler resistor on the firewall.
