How do they know "whose is whose?" Do they actually have to put their names on *everything* (i.e. toothpaste, toothbrush, other toiletries, etc.)? Or their bed linens? I'm pretty sure their names are on all their clothing (even skivvies), but what do they do about the smaller items?

The chaos usually started after a Drill "found" something he didnt like. I mean...it could have been anything....like a spec of dust on your bunk or a shirt that was not rolled fold/rolled tight enough....or in one incident because he found a wood tick on a boot lace. Fkn pandemonium......good times

Understood, but once all the contents are "deployed," how does each individual recruit get their own items back to repack? Especially the smaller toiletry items that might not have their name on them?

Slight correction: Bottom row, middle. That's not just cowboy style cops. That describes all of us big bore hawg leg afficionados. The longer the barrel, the more affinity he has for the out-of-the-way and less taken paths, and the probability that he also has a lever action rifle in the same chambering greatly increases as well...
