Aero’s barrels are good…not great, but good shooters. I prefer BCM or DD barrels for my work guns, but this is almost too good of a deal to pass up. $99 for this barrel is ridiculously cheap.

Yes. Trying to walk over bushes, brush, and plant clumps as much as possible. And that is the least of the protagonist's concerns in the scenario he set up. Not Jeremiah Johnson style bushcraft. Fighting and evading first rate invading Chicoms and Norks where you'd be up against thermal imaging drones and robodogs. Gnarly shit. Setting up a Homefront style multiday or week airsoft sim battle in real mountains with the full range of modern and futuristic battlefield UAV tech that the civilian sphere can obtain and put together would be epic and very useful for proficiency training of the Militia.
