Like many things on the internet, this is incorrect. Nebraska has never had a duty to retreat law.
We actually do have a duty to retreat law but then it goes gray.
Like so much legaleze bullshit.
Required to retreat to protect yourself or others if you can do so safely but does not apply to home or workplace
We do have the Castle Doctrine
Lawyers/prosecutors have stood in the way of adopting Stand Your Ground Laws
Confused yet?.............that's what they want:mad:

Pretty classic Nebraska. The closer you get to Lincoln/Omaha, the dumber it gets.
