We actually do have a duty to retreat law but then it goes gray.
Like so much legaleze bullshit.
Required to retreat to protect yourself or others if you can do so safely but does not apply to home or workplace
We do have the Castle Doctrine
Lawyers/prosecutors have stood in the way of adopting Stand Your Ground Laws
Confused yet?.............that's what they want:mad:
Pretty classic Nebraska. The closer you get to Lincoln/Omaha, the dumber it gets.

Edit: once again I added my two cents before reading the following posts
Thanks for jumping in @168BTHPM and @doubloon :D
I carry everyday. I've never been to Nebraska but seems like a decent place to visit. I never go to truly liberal shitholes just because there is nothing there I give a shit about. That said my SOP is and always will be I and the people with me have to live through this. If that means some asshole just bought his ticket to the next life, so be it. I'm not going to worry if there is a duty to retreat. Obviously the situation has gone past that. If I face legal issues later at least I and the people with me are alive. One crisis at a time is my limit, I'm old.
