Very professionally printed and laminated troll posters appearing over various DFW public transport restrooms. The number is the Lieutenant Governor's office. I bet there are a lot of confused faces from folks answering the phones there in the past few days.
It's a Flushometer for toilets.
Had a maintenance guy at work that was installing those in the new admin building at the prison.
A Administrator waled into the bathroom and asked on how those work. The maint. guy told him,
"You see that window? Well, there's a little man sitting behind the glass and when you show him
your butt, he'll flush the toilet for ya.
The sad thing was that the Admin guy believed it.

In all seriousness: I do think it's gonna be interesting to see what happens with EVs. Musk has all but screwed Tesla but involving himself in the USG's issues. Tesla sales are down like 60% in Europe...
EV sales are generally down. I reckon pretty much everyone who wants one or can get one to suit their needs, has one already.
Loads of places now (at least over here) can't even install home charge points because the electricity grid is outdated and under dimensioned for the added demand.
100%... I love my Tesla, it's a blast.
My issue is all of these nut jobs making/assuming that EVs should replace all other technologies. Frankly, Toyota has been very smart... They are working on three separate initiatives: EV (solid state), Hybrid (they own that market), and Hydrogen... we should be diversifying... not hoping on one technology.
Then there are those idiots who seem to thing killing off all the nuclear power plants was a great idea.... You want EVs? You need alot of power.
Don't get me started on the killing off my natural gas stove or hot water heater.... assuming there is enough capacity: Who the fuck is going to pay for my upgrade to 300-400AMP service.
Etc... etc... etc...
Then there are the anti-EV people, some of whom are actually violent. One of them required the police to get involved, and was unluckily enough for me to be traveling and packing.
Oh, btw, that Mercedes! They, and other EV manufacturers, use Tesla battery packs because they don't actually burst into flames spontaneously.
They just go all Pinto when you hit them! (Some of them anyway....)

Today's presentation: Impulse Research Wildebeest Big Bore cyberpunk pistol.
Like something that would be carried by a dapper gangster in a futuristic cyberpunk city, who ends up being one of the good guys and opens up a can of whoopass on the killer robot spiders and the tyrannical state cybernetics firm that released them to suppress dissidents. Developed by Australian firearms designer Bernard Besselink, the low bore axis profile Wildebeest is reminiscent of futuristic looking low axis revolvers like the Chiappa Rhino, and it's main purpose is to sling HUGE projectiles downrange.
With a few prototypes made upon the conception of Impulse Research in 2023, the gun seems to be a very limited production custom order only, chambered in .357 Magnum since the company's designated market that is Australian gun owners are legally allowed to own handguns of .357/9mm or lower. The company, which now has a US patent, is also hoping to release an entire line of Wildebeests for the American market, chambered in .357 Mag all the way up to .480 Ruger.
