CF 18 crash at Lethbridge, Alberta while practicing for an air show in July of 2010.
The pilot lost control @ 300 ft due to right engine failure. He survived the low altitude ejection.

Either was less than the optimum outcome.
I read that the old drivers trained themselves to take a deep breath of the flames as that would kill them quickly rather than burning. Dont know if that true.
