I don’t know how the “American Dream” became what it is now, but I don’t believe it was ever about material possessions or a comfortable life.
It was the opportunity to start with $0 to your name, but have the freedom to work yourself to the bone and retain all the fruits of your labor without interference from the State. It just so happens that a society that is oriented and structured so, ends up with an insane amount of material prosperity.
If we incorrectly believe the American dream is just “Nice house, nice family, nice life”, we believe we’re owed something. Even worse, the State can simply furnish these niceties and provide the “American Dream.”
No, canman, we need many judges like Scalia, Thomas, and Alito (though he's far behind the other two IMO) not just "a" judge. Thomas is quite literally one of the best Justices the USA has ever had. ACB is a traitor as you said - Big time. Had the book deal before she was sworn in and was obviously not vetted properly but sold to us and Trump by the swamp critters that make up the Republicant party.
