Trump is playing 4D chess here. he has baited Canada into a ridiculous knee jerk reaction. instead of doing what is best for Canada, all the politicians there are just acting out of spite against the USA , with no real long term plan to deal with us.
i suspect when its all said and done Trump will get all the Canadian tariffs removed and they're all going to turn on Carney because spite is not an effective foreign policy long term.
