Every time I shoot a Barrett semi auto I wonder why they cost more than $2k.
I’ve shot them before and I’m looking to flip this if I can get the price low enough. Just wanted to see what the market out there is.
GunBroker wants 13k; and the one you posted comes with a scope and the Barrett rangefinder thingy.
Barrett BORS is an additional 1500 + you get the scope $$.
Seems like a good deal if you have the extra $$ laying around. Sure, every buck you take him down is an extra $$ in your pocket.
How much are those primers going for? (on the shelf)
50Cal ammo use to be cheap before the Cartels started buying it all and shipping it south.
Put 10K CASH in front of the dealer, count out 9k, pull another 1K from the other pocket.. Make sure 1K is in 20 dollar bills....
See if he bites,,,, if he drools at 9K you have him. Keep that last 1K in your shoe, in case he wants the full 11

Unfired, with the optic and BORS that doesnt seem unreasonable. Im not a collector or knowledgeable on it by any means, I paid 9k for my 107A1 in 2018 or so, no optic or BORS.
For reference, Euro Optic just posted a sale for a FDE M107A for $9999 with 5 boxes of ammo.
I don't think it's that great of a deal, the Leupold is an older model, the Barrett BORS was never that good, and the BORS has been discontinued so there's no service help if something goes wrong with it. So let's take the optics package out of the equation and 11K is about the norm for a M107A1 when new.
Maybe be a better guy and hook him up with the buyer you plan to high balling instead of being sleezy just to make a few bucks.

Mostly agree with what has been said above. A few have been sold on here. It's not a "bad" deal that he is offering, but there isn't much "juice left to squeeze" if you are set on flipping in a reasonable time-frame. If willing to sit on it for a bit, you might have some opportunity for the market to change and see value go up; as mentioned 50BMG ammo prices have been hiking up a bit and primers are ridiculous. Personally, I would NOT pay $11K for it, and definitely not more than that. So take that as a data point that may or may not mean anything to your discernment process...
putting in the leg work to find someone, if he was to charge $$ per hour, will probably make the sale a push.

The ones on sale for 9999 at Europtic have a steel upper and are 1 pound heavier. Also Palmeto is coming out with a semi 50 bmg that will probably cost half as much and will use the m82 mags. Probably will compete for accuracy with the Barrett.
I kinda wanted the semi auto back in the day. After a while, chasing accuracy might drive you crazy.
Not to derail the thread, but loved the idea of a bolt action.

They have other colors too.
If you want something to burn ammo get a Barrett. If you want something to actually hit something with, get a Cadex Tremor. I may be a little bias though. That being said, I don’t have any time on a 107 but, I have spent some time on a M82A1. Just my two cents sir.

Accessories - Wtb Barrett bors software
I recently bought a barrett m107a1 with a bors atop a schmidt and the store misplaced the cord. No biggie I can find that. They also misplaced the software. I looking to either buy or borrow or locate the bors software. I honestly planned to remove the bors but have decided to give it a try
