Out of the 4, which would you purchase and why? Obviously, I want ballistic ability within the package. I am new to this, so I don’t know what I don’t know, but would prefer not to have to purchase another one because I’m disappointed in the performance of the device, or the image sucks. Would you also need to still purchase a Kestrel to pair to work with them? Make Recommendations like you were talking to a functional idiot, because I’ve been led to believe I am. Please let me know the pros and cons of your recommendations. Thanks

I have/had the Leicas, the Revic and the Vector X. The best would be a combination of the Leica’s glass and eyebox, the Vector’s display and information available and the Revic’s laser and buttons. I finally settled on the Leica because of the glass, ergonomics, AB Elite and the laser is very good. If I were using mainly for competition I would go with the Revis. They’re very good overall and easy to use. The Vector X was fussy to use, they to be focused and the ip distance set precisely. The glass was very good, but the ranging button was hard to find and the menu was a little complicated. However, it made much more information available in the display than any of the others. If you’re playing Revic first, Vector X second. If you’ll be using the binoculars a lot for hunting or general watching and informal target/long range play then I’d get the Leicas.
