Bergara B14r with factory 20" barrel

My heavy b14R sits in an ACC premier. I have mlok weights up front, and the balance is perfect. These rifles punch way above their price point. Especially now that they can be had for around $650. Throw a Timney or trigger tech trigger in it, and you are a good ways to having a highly competitive rifle.

I’ve also had the barreled action in an MPA hybrid with competition rails, and the balance is just about the same as the ACC in a lighter overall package.

I have the same chassis. My OG barrel didn’t clear the front so I had a fake can in it.
Where did you get that bag rider?

Well, earlier I talked myself out of buying this but you guys set me right. I can sell my old 18" steel for more than what this cost. But now I have to spend some more money on a chassis. Any budget recommendations?

Budget, MDT Oryx, solid, feeds perfectly without mods and can be weighted inside and out. They have new side panels with Mlok slots up front, or make your own front side weights. Mine weighs 20 lbs with homemade side weights and a poured internal lead weight. Balances 3 3/4" forward of mag well.

No holes barred option, MDT ACC Premier Gen 2. Came out just a bit after I went with the Oryx. 3 of my shooting buddies now have them, very nice. Solid, no feed issues, lots of room for weights and 2" longer fore end than Oryx.
