What color are the pads? I had the greens on my last truck & really liked them, minimal brake dust & improved stopping of course (I had slotted rotors as well but doubt that made a big difference)... I'll put them on my current ¾ ton as soon as that project gets to the top of the list.
These are the red "extreme duty" whatever pads. Ive used EBC before and liked em too

I need brakes on my pickup and am just getting ready to order these (looked at them all weekend). Only thing that gives me pause is the retardedly long break-in. IIRC it’s like a thousand miles? lol. Ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat.

I had yellow stuff pads before and I recall a very abbreviated procedure. Couple big stops and then let them cool while driving. I tow very frequently and there is no way I can wait 1000 miles. It looks like these new red hd truck line of pads have zero reviews out there. You got anything to say about them yet?

I had a great experience last time on my old pickup, but with no one talking about these I’ve been tossing around the idea of going O.E.

Pic rule. Shooting with the fam out of the deckover dump trailer. Still working on their little rimfire area. Want to build one of these deer blinds/shooting shacks I see built on old used up gravity wagons.

I'm gonna do a 500 mile trip om Monday. I'm gonna try and do as much break-in around town as I can. I'll let you know.

Rules:

Trigger discipline is a thing regardless of the tool

Make sure to pump the brake pedal to get pressure up before you roll off.
Just put new rotors and HD pads on my F250 while visiting family in East TN.

Why do people insist on putting on garbage tail lights? I sincerely dislike aftermarket assemblies like these.

These are the EBC pads which they say are more better-er for trucks with larger tires. So, we'll see. The stock rotors/pads ain't cutting it for me.
Bout the same as the fellars that put LEDs on without a resistor so they flash stupid fast

Rules and shit(fan of factory lenses as well)

OK, so, just did 15-20 miles around town just going nice and easy on them. I like them. Toward the end i noticed much better initial "bite" than the OE brakes.

PEr the instructions it says the first 50 miles to bed them more carefully because of the abrasive bedding compound.
