Ukraine war Bullshit.

I keep asking but get no response from the left. If Vietnam and Afghanistan were bad proxy wars, then how is the Ukraine a good one?
I am on the right and my opinion is all 3 were/are foreign policy missteps that snowballed into monsters ,the first two were akin to having a bad hand in a card game but not folding . The uke war .......we are like a boxer watching 2 opponents duke it out while we encourage the underdog to stay in and weaken the other for us.[ thats a good war for us US]

Well, that's very easy to answer.
Vietnam was our (Russians and Ukrainians as members of the USSR) proxy war against the USA, which you, as you say, lost to us.

Next ,this war
for Ukraine is a war for the survival, independence, existence of the Ukrainian nation.
For Putler, a war for a bipolar world. (It was planned as an easy walk) to the NATO border.
For Europe, war is a threat and destabilization of a rich life.
For the US - a "surprise" that Obama and Biden himself were diligently preparing.(
this is a short version )

A long one would require creating a separate topic. But I can post a prelude to such a thread here.
Obama, as a senator, went with Lugar to Ukraine to monitor disarmament.
22.jpg

In 2005, Obama introduced a bill that helped destroy 1,000 anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine.
Obama's motives are probably best described in this book.
DreamsFromMyRealFather_MoviePoster.jpg

It is considered a conspiracy theory, but apart from it, such illogical behavior towards Russia that nothing else in the world explains it. This is firstly. And secondly, in this thread there are the biggest fans of various conspiracy theories. That's why I allowed myself such an argument.

But it's not just Obama. George Bush Sr. also asked Ukraine not to leave the USSR.
Bill Clinton pressured Kravchuk and Kuchma to give up nuclear weapons.
So now USA , as signatories of Budapest, have to help Ukraine in this war.
All of this points to the blatant incompetence and shortsightedness of American foreign policy which is seasoned with pathological moscovophilia
Since the elites come from the Ivy League, where the teachers are mostly leftists and therefore exalted moscovofils.
The pathology is so mutable that people who consider themselves right-wing patriots of the United States cite Russia Today as a source of information. A source that is created and funded to misinform Western ears.
this is what you are standing on now.
What will you do? I have no doubt that you will choose the worst decision, as always, to be friends with Putler again, and now with Kim and the Ayatollahs.
They are already offering the US a joint nuclear program as a guarantee that it will not be turned into a weapon.

After reading this I am really beginning to see the light. As a matter of fact I believe that I have changed my opinions and see that I have been duped by Russian propaganda and Putin is a mad man hell bent on resurrection of the USSR and the Kiev midget gender bender an actual reincarnated George Washington.

You're my hero for showing me my erroneous way. Please provide some links for more information.

You maybe able to fool americans who have no clue about history of slavs or this general area but you cannot fool us living with your type of scum for centuries. You're basically worst of us, the shit of the ethnic group who enters into service of anyone whom your feeble and scared brain perceives as master. Hence your hatred for those who have morals and courage to stand against any would be overlord. Every slavic nation has this type and every 50-100 years this type must be eradicated like a cancer that you are.

The contributors to this topic could learn things from me or just a different perspective on the topic of war or at least not to expose themselves as retards who, instead of education, paid all their money on loans for a house, a car and the rest of the acquisitions of civilization.
Now the gaps in their education force them to spend night and day in this topic about Ukraine and entertain my ego.
Instead, they try to impress and tease me with their stupid redneck jokes about female neighbors from Ukraine.
I see that this requires a separate explanation.
Was that supposed to upset me somehow?
The fact that you meet ladies every day who are representatives of Vietnam, India or other third world countries only suggests that you live in a not very wealthy community
Do I understand everything correctly? Has the segregation of the population by property qualification not yet disappeared in the USA ?
I would have left this thread a long time ago, they don't show anything new from Russian social networks here. But every time there is some guy who entertains me so much that I just have to stay.
Maybe it's time to ask the moderator to close the thread again?
How do you do that?
And then I'll go to the reloading section, and all the other contributors to their favorite picture section for retards.

I understand this ironic implication that it's like, I think so.
You will wander endlessly in the darkness of political processes in Eastern Europe and without outside help you will not be able to understand anything. This is inherent in Americans or the phenomenon of hegemony in general. Having the advantage of not understanding the details and making decisions based on situational insinuations. Fateful decisions.
Unlike you, I clearly know who Ze is.
Zelensky was never "Washington", before his election he was another pro-Russian politician who believed that he would reach an agreement with Putin exactly as you all think. He often traveled to Russia., had a business there and was a millionaire. He spoke exclusively in Russian. He ridiculed pro-Ukrainian politics, politicians, and everything Ukrainian.Copy-pasted his stand-ups with a Russian agenda ect.
Until he encountered the real Russian world. Which is remembered much better here in western Ukraine than where Ze comes from.
What saved us was that he is stubborn and belligerent, like every short guy.
He just doesn't like to be pushed aside. This was also not taken into account when planning a three-day trip to Kyiv.
What you post here about Ukraine is childish compared to what he did as a comedian.
He was literally not accepted in western Ukraine. No way. But the majority chose him.

@SNB you cunts tried to orchestrate a genocide, now you are mad about it backfiring.
Truly hope you at some point travel back to your country and get press ganged and die in one of the many meaningless PR stunts that your "heroes" are forced to sacrifice their lives for.
Your losses most likely number more than a million, and your great leader still sends people to their death for useless propaganda purposes, just to keep the gravy train rolling.
Just look at how you've lost thousands in utterly useless skirmishes into Kursk after losing it, or the recent adventures in Toretsk.
I really wonder if you are a barking chihuahua in Poland or some other country talking a big game, but hiding from mobilization, or if you are a paid propaganda agent.
No matter, you are a cunt, and you gleefully cheer on the wholesale slaughter of your own countrymen.

There are two possible outs for Ukraine now, your politicians start negotiating in good faith with the Russians, or the war continues, both outcomes lead to your kosher neo-nazis getting fucked.
You already lost.

even the left is waking up to the truth.

I rarely agree with President Trump, but his latest controversial statements about Ukraine are mostly true. They seem preposterous only because western audiences have been fed a steady diet of disinformation about Ukraine for more than a decade. It is time to set the record straight on three key points that illuminate why Ukrainians and former President Joe Biden — not merely Russian President Vladimir Putin — bear significant responsibility for the outbreak and perpetuation of war in Ukraine.

First, as recently documented by overwhelming forensic evidence, and affirmed even by a Kyiv court, it was Ukrainian right-wing militants who started the violence in 2014 that provoked Russia’s initial invasion of the country’s southeast including Crimea. Back then, Ukraine had a pro-Russia president, Viktor Yanukovych, who had won free and fair elections in 2010 with strong support from ethnic Russians in the country’s southeast.

If anyone says anything such as "an unprovoked war of aggression", a war of "democracy vs authoritarianism" or even simplified down to "good vs evil" - you are being propagandized.

There's been so much propaganda around this war it's unbelievable. The left and the neocons were particularly receptive to the bullshit, really leaning into the cartoonishly simple propaganda to justify our involvement in a conflict against Russia - their arch nemesis.

Don't disagree with much of what you say, other than you leave out that the Russians are also always looking at the US as THE bad actor in the world, and they've had as many or more (some wacky and some realpolitik) conspiracies to infiltrate and take us down as we have of them. It IS ideological, and communism IS the major culprit. Their culture is a thousand times more stoic than ours, and miscommunication and miss identifying policy objectives has been common since Stalin seized power.

Totally agree with Obama's Marxist beliefs, and how that jibes/clashes with Moscow, but you also have to look at what Putin says to his own people and believe that as well. The people who don't take the thoughts and beliefs of other people into account are massive morons, and there are plenty to go around.

I don't think you would deny that Moscow has always sided with whomever is against us even if they have nothing in common with them either ideologically, economically, or culturally. Those are the actions of someone who has always seen us as an enemy too. I would only point to Trump's strategy vis a vis China. He is essentially creating a form of peace with China through mutually assured economic destruction rather than nuclear. It's like grabbing the dentists balls before he starts to drill and saying, "We're not going to hurt each other, are we?" We have so little trade with Russia that we have none of that leverage with them, and Americans (and the rest of the world) consistently underestimate just how fucking tough the Russian people are, and what they're willing to endure (some of the toughest and most willful people on the planet). How do you deal with someone who distrusts you and only responds to force? The whole dynamic needs to change, but it can't be just that, as we've seen with China, making the communist party rich does eventually filter down to the people, but it's not going to change them, only make them think that totalitarianism is winning.

The west helping to kick off and then sponsor an 8 year bloody civil war in which the new western backed government was at war against the ethnically Russian part of the country on Russia's border may have been a big part of Russia's involvement in the conflict...

Hungarian forces ready to reclaim land taken from them in 1938 ? is what my quick read was.

Is this correct?

I think this is tactically smart, politics aside. I haven't seen any maps detailing the land in "play" but if it doesn't overlap the ruskies intentions it helps them as I see it.

Ukraine or is it now Ugone?

I don't see anyone spinning up to help this late in the game.

but if ukraine won't agree to peace without concessions on territory that russians have captured, i guess putin's only choice is to capture territory he never wanted so he can use that for negotiations.

Putin needs to smoke Z-boy, & all his backers before agreeing to anything.

Both will be so hollowed out by the end of this it wouldn’t surprise me if China makes a resource grab into Russia and we were fighting the Chicoms alongside the Russians on Russian soil.

Didn’t Nostradamus predict something like this?
doubtful but interesting speculation. China and Russia have never really been buds since Mao broke with Stalin. they have had some dust ups around the Ussuri river. IMHO 1 of the dozens of reason Trump should stop and remove everything in or going to Ukraine. normalizing with Russia would be a potential disruption for China, which is the real enemy. as we all know,Ukraine is hole the MIC and dems want to fill up with our $s.
the Taiwan issue could well turn into a BFD and China having an unsecured west border could only be a good thing.

Hmmm 🤔

Fuck yea it's doubtful. I gots no stars and planets to guide my idle speculations. Just spit ballin' knowin' how those sneaky Chicoms operate, and how resource poor they are with a full bore industrial economy. Not that much different than a resource poor Japan striking their neighbors to seize their oil and rubber.

I don't think anyone has a good idea about what the Chicoms will do, and they now have the largest Navy in the world that is pretty advanced with phased array radars and hypersonic ship killing missiles. Not only are they our most likely adversary, they can already beat us on paper, and as I look around at our Navy I don't see any Halsey's or Nimitz's to pull some sort of masterful strategy. We're breeding risk averse boy captains who get fired at the drop of a hat.

IMO they are 100% the biggest potential threat, no one else comes close. And not even in direct conflict, in their potential future ability to supply poxy style wars. Akin to what the Soviets did post WW2 countering US moves globally.

Kiev in 3 days came from American generals, not Russia. FYI.
Nope. If you listened to Putin’s declaration of the “not a war, but a limited Special Military Operation”, then look at Lukashenko’s open filming of the theater strategic map, then the VDV assault on Hostomel airport, and the armored columns that were headed to Kiev, it’s clear Putin was attempting Russia’s version of shock & awe with a swift victory in-sight to seize Kiev.

He also coordinated through the Obama people in Biden’s WH staff to make sure Biden sent a plane to extract Zelensky so there would be no leader in Kiev to mount opposition and negotiate for any assistance from Western countries.

1. Lukashenko failed him on Operational Security on a strategic scale.
2. VDV failed to seize Hostomel and were repelled by Ukrainian national guard locals after the original Ukrainian Army units were pushed out of the airport during the initial attack.
3. The armored columns ran out of gas and food on their way down to Kiev, and were attrited with Trump’s Javelin shipments, legacy Ukrainian ATGMs, and drones.
4. Biden failed to convince Zelensky to board the plane, and Zelensky instead said the famous words, “I don’t need a ride, I need ammo."
5. The Europeans navel-gazed and sweat for a while until finally sending old FMS stock to support Ukraine after Russia failed to seize Kiev and it looked like it was going to be more drawn-out than expected. You can track every promise and most deliveries via a number of sites dedicated to documenting FMS and arms transfers.

Biden WH saw the political momentum in Europe and started making promises, but not delivering in any timely manner because he wasn’t supposed to facilitate the rapid humiliation of Russia, quite the opposite.

The whole argument claiming that Kiev in 3 days was from US Generals is commonly-repeated, but simply isn’t supported by the totality of the evidence. Then you see guys like Col MacGregor saying Russia is taking it easy on Ukraine because they want to win with minimal loss of life. When placed next to the claims that these are Nazis, that argument falls apart very quickly.

The obvious truth is Russia doesn’t have the combat power or military competence to seize key strategic objectives in a neighboring country, even after making preparations for this that date back decades, even centuries.

not to argue, but the russians would have needed 20x the forces they deployed to take and control kiev.
this could have been a ruse to force more ukrainian forces away from the real objectives in the south.

I keep asking but get no response from the left. If Vietnam and Afghanistan were bad proxy wars, then how is the Ukraine a good one?
The main reasons leftists supported fighting the war in Ukraine was because CNN and the liberal press told them to. They have no ability to reason much after that.

One of the main reason Pfizer’s corporate media shills jumped on the Ukraine bandwagon so quickly was because of the mounting protests against COVID lockdowns, remember?

Ukraine gave them a pressure-relief valve to distract from the trucker and farmer protests in Europe. Remember where farmers were spraying manure water all over govt buildings where the cat lady parliamentarians meet, or the truckers in Canada were blaring their honking horns non-stop?

Also, many people will simply back whoever is in the WH that they voted for and whatever foreign policies they have, doesn’t matter a bit about the merits or if they can even locate the place on a map.

They had plenty of moles in Kiev and still do today, so as long as Zelensky was removed by Biden, it would have been an easy vacuum to fill. The armored units were then going to proceed West to scripted video of babushkas and little girl role-players waiting with flowers to welcome their Russian saviors.

Access to Ukraine by Western journalists would have been immediately cut off, and the narrative of Russian liberators broadcast repeatedly to the cheers of Russians back home and the rest of the world.

Instead, the whole plan went to crap and here we are. Putin didn’t take the off-ramp Trump handed him on a silver platter, because Putin can not be seen as Trump’s bitch to the Russian people.

The Zelensky White House meeting was likely a coordinated stunt to sell the deal to Putin, and allow him to advertise this on Roccia One TV.

still have never said why we should have had anything to do with this CF. or really anywhere in Europe. you have never offered any idea s of why anything in Europe in general and Ukraine in particular is in our nat'l interest in any way. i remember you coming up with some lame neocon bullshit about some countries being "uncomfortable" with western Russian movement. some other neocon on here said something about Europe being a "trading partner" that we had to save from the slavic boogey man. again, who gives a F? i assume you are aware of the trade imbalance between us and Europe and the hosing we get thereby. i feel sure you are aware of the miniscule amount they spend on their own defense and the huge amt they have cost us since 1945. that which our MIC is happy to cover for them via the usual laundering schemes.
you ever going to respond to those questions since you seem so clued in to all kinds of milit info?

2. That wasn't Ukraine national Guard. That was NATO mercs.

3. The only thing that stalled the armored colums was blown bridges and flooded wet lands. The area surrounding Kiev is low lying wet lands. North of the city is a massive reservoir. They blew bridges and opened the spill way, armored columns can't move through flooded wet lands. Thats why Bucha was destroy and about the furthest the west part the Russia advance made it. And they fucked that place up.

Try to toss it to the Russians ran out of gas is fucking retarded.

Kiev's Geography makes it a very hard city to storm. It be akin to trying to take New Orleans through a swamp. Especally when you flood the area with very few Roads in... you ain't getting shit through that.

THAT IS WHAT SAVED KIEV. NOT RUSSIA INCOMPETENT OR TrUmP giving them a couple so Anti tank missiles.

Did you listen to Putin’s broadcast and announcement of the SMO? This is a guy who said his forces were simply conducting military drills for 10 days in Feb 2022, before he announced the SMO.

Feb 19, 2022: Putin leads sweeping nuclear exercises as tensions soar

The real conversations within his FSB were that they could rapidly seize Kiev because each city already had 2000 trained civilians who were ready to overthrow Zelensky and fight for Putin. Distances to Kiev from Belorussia were much shorter than 3 days, but waiting for the convoys from

The FSB assessed that Ukrainian factions would then fight among themselves to win favor with Putin.

Do you want a laugh?”, says the source.

“We were expected to be the arbitrators for crowning Ukrainian politicians who were supposed to start tearing each other apart competing for the right to be called aligned with Russia.”

The source mentioned several times that three days was time timetable given to Putin for the capture of Kyiv.

"'What if it doesn't work?' This question was left unanswered when they planned to take Kiev in three days," said Wind of Change in one reference.

Similarly the source says if Putin's Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu was asked before the war, he would have replied "we will take Kiev in three days", using the Russian spelling for the city.

If you look at the map, and you’re among the Russian General staff, one of the main questions Putin is going to ask is, “How long?"

Based on the average travel speed of armored columns, taking resistance into consideration, 3 days gives you a lot of time to push armored columns from the Belorussian border to Kiev. That distance is only 62 miles/100km.

So even if you only cover 40km/hr, stopping at times for tactical pauses, refueling, resting, passage of forces to keep the front elements fresh, you are easily going to be at least at the perimeter of the city in 3 days.

And guess what? It took them.......3 days to reach the outskirts of Kiev. Those units departed friendly lines on Feb 24, and arrived outside of Kiev on the 27th.

Only problem for them was the columns were stalled due to lack of fuel and food, their armor elements were attrited for sport with Javelins and Soviet-era ATGMs, and their attempt at seizing the air head at Hostomel was repelled.

It was one of the most decisive repels of an invasion in military history, because Russia stacked the deck so heavily in their favor as to give no excuse for such a loss.

still have never said why we should have had anything to do with this CF. or really anywhere in Europe. you have never offered any idea s of why anything in Europe in general and Ukraine in particular is in our nat'l interest in any way. i remember you coming up with some lame neocon bullshit about some countries being "uncomfortable" with western Russian movement. some other neocon on here said something about Europe being a "trading partner" that we had to save from the slavic boogey man. again, who gives a F? i assume you are aware of the trade imbalance between us and Europe and the hosing we get thereby. i feel sure you are aware of the miniscule amount they spend on their own defense and the huge amt they have cost us since 1945. that which our MIC is happy to cover for them via the usual laundering schemes.
you ever going to respond to those questions since you seem so clued in to all kinds of milit info?
I’ve responded in extreme detail about trade relations between the US and Europe, as well as maintaining stable passage for navigation of the key waterways. Europe as a whole is the US’s largest trade partner region.

That isn’t ideological, just facts. You call it neocon, when there is no theory assigned to it, just the harsh reality of economics and geography. Russia doesn’t have the ability to seize key terrain at a strategic level, but they do have the ability to vandalize at the theater level, so that’s enough motive to want to keep them contained. No other reason is needed.

This is a photo of the flooding I am talking about... This is what stopped Russia attacking through Belarus from taking Kiev.

The same wet land has saved the city Multiple times though out many centuries...
