This is almost as rich as someone joining a hunting forum and their first post is they drew a tag for an area they've never been and asking for people to post up their secret spots...
Not much Lapua being sent, especially the top tier stuff. When it does show up it's usually gone in minutes.
Usually gotta get on a list and wait a year or so. Some send their guns to a test center if for nothing else to be able to buy a few bricks or maybe a case.

I have found it at GrabAgun and Nachez Shooters supply www.natchezss.com (Lapua Center-X). That was 2 weeks ago. I got the last 7 boxes of Lapua Center-X from Nachez.
I'm mainly looking for Lapua Center-X or Midas +. The Match I shoot requirement is less than 1100fps.
I'm open to suggestion to other brands less than 1100fps and consistent as Lapua. So far Lapua shoots best in my 2 rifles. Interesting both like the same ammo. SK Standard plus groups pretty good but has too many flyers, maybe 1 in 10.

That's a new vendor for me. Very small storefront. Have you ordered from them?
An interview i watched of the Lapua rep at shot show said that Lapua and SK to the US is going to be slim to none this year. I just don’t understand because Eley seems to satisfy all of its direct customer’s needs and still ships a lot of stuff to the US.
RWS is also missing in action for R50. I did het a brick of special match for practice last week from Creedmoor. I got an email. Went and ordered as soon as i saw it that morning and by afternoon it was gone!

I know is Lapua is made in Lapua, Finland. Eley is made in the UK.

Seems the previous administrations disastrous war is a significant part of this shortage.
Eley must not be forced to replenish Ukraine ammo.
I hope this shortage wont last too long but it already has, and most likely will continue.

No. Lapua bought out SK in Germany maybe 10 years ago and moved their rimfire production to Germany.

Lapua put out a press release in late 2023 or early 2024 that due to military contracts they weren’t going to make brass for the reloader market.
I may be wrong but i do not believe that the rimfire production machines can be repurposed to make centerfire ammo or components.

Anyone know why there's no Lapua or SK 22LR match (cen-x, SK match etc) available as of June 2025?
Small quantities have been popping up here and there on Rifle Match, you just have to jump on it quick. I ordered 3 bricks between 2 places earlier this week.
A comment last August from someone at Capstone about .22 ammo availability:
"The factory is working hard to catch up with global demand without letting quality suffer. We (Capstone) are receiving a container (5.4M rounds) of Lapua and SK every 4-5 weeks. We turn a container around from delivery to shipping in 2-3 days. A container arrived this morning and the cupboard will be bare on Thursday. We fill orders FIFO (first in, first out). The growing popularity of many Smallbore competitions in the past few years (PRS, NRL22, ELR, etc) has added addition demand for all products. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding."
If you aren't seeing it, your shop isn't ordering it or you aren't buying it when it is there.
