I want a new bolt action rifle, looking for some advice

I already have an Accuracy International AT, which I converted into a PRS competition rifle. But now I want to buy or build a new bolt action rifle (Military style appearance). I checked Sako, Mrad, they are all overpriced. Can anyone give me some advice? My budget is in 2500$, NOT including scope.

Am I the only one seeing this?

Look for a used GA Precision PPR. They are 3K new and they basically sell them at break even for everything you get. I have one in 6 Creed and on in 6GT. You can get a Bartlein pre fit for $750 in any 308 bolt size face.

Tikka doesn’t attract me much; I’d like to know whether there are any decommissioned military rifles—or other firearms that have seen service—in this price range.
But you looked at Sakos...EuroOptic has or was having sales on Tikka's. You could buy one then customize to your hearts content.

This gun here: Is this a Mcmillan stock? If so, would you know what finish this is? Tried finding it at Mcmillan and all they have in OD is some odd, faded green/grey they call 'od', and it's flat too. Would you happen to know this finish by chance?

I just know it's the factory mcmillan a3g stock that came with the SPRs. I'm sure this was only done for these rifles but I could be wrong.
