AI - ATX LE

If you are talking about the new AT-X LE with the short forend in .308 then those are only sold to departments per contract. There is a very specific way an individual officer can get one for duty use, but I am not sure of it.

From what I gather we are the only place that sells the AT-X LE.

So long story short it would be faster to cut a civilian one yes.

I’m sending this atx out to get cut at the left edge of the tape. 18” barrel should hit on the left edge of the tape on the barrel. In effect I will have an atx-le when it’s done. Although, it won’t be as clean looking as a factory chassis.

That’s the best spot to cut, but it’s a little shorter than the LE. Not by much tho.

You will need a medium Bridge to ensure it’s fully supported, and be cutting down the factory pic rail to ensure.

Yeh so I got the medium bridge, but unsure if I want to cut it that far back now as all my barrels are 18”+. Decisions decisions.

Hear ya. Still cogitating on what barrel I’m going with.

The 277 Hybrid in the shorter barrel makes a ton of sense with an expected 3,000fps out of 16” or so. Problem is, I have no idea how consistent the ammo SD is.
