Kids are the best thing you can doAs of today that’s a non-issue, but I get what you mean. I’m one of those people who parents try to convince kids are great, and I still just don’t like them.
What is this gibberishWell we could vote for political parties that spend less on military, raise taxes instead of cutting them to offset the deficit spending, greater spending on social services/education/healthcare, but we don't because we're selfish and it's all commie talk to us, so enjoy the videos of bombs dropping on sand people.
My view exactly. I didn't want this shit, even though I can see it's necessity. Now that we stepped in it, I hope we don't fall in it, and we can just clean it off our boot before we get on the porch.I would have preferred that we stayed out of this one, now I will at least hold out hope that we aren’t committing anything more than bombing nuke sites.
No troops, no regime change, no nation building bullshit.
Yes absolutely no boots on the ground for sure. No regime changes. I bet Lindsey grahams pussy is so wet right now. Fucking asshole has never seen a country he doesn’t want to bomb.My view exactly. Trump is trying to get those numbers up for.........next time? I hear that selling out completely is a good way to make your opponents like you.

They MIGHT mumble muted protests, but there are no tears in Riyadh, Damascus, Cairo, etc., etc.A perfect example of PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH! Also, many of the other muslim countries in the region are secretly breathing a sigh of relief that Iran has been neutered.
Didn’t Obama kill a 16yo American?
Just stop it . FAR too rational a post for the Pit.I understand why Israel felt they had to attack Iran as an existential threat.
I understand why taking this moment in time, with Iranian capabilities severely degraded, to take their nuclear facilities & program off the table would be pragmatic.
I don't have to like getting involved in a fight somebody else started and, to this point, wasn't ours.
I can only imagine all the naval & air power surged to the region in the last week is to prevent Iran from closing the Strait of Hormuz and ensure CENTCOM assets are as protected as possible.
None of them want them to have it either. The other part of me: China has nukes, Russia has nukes, Saudi has nukes (ahem) - any one of them could have already given Iran the capability
Any reports from the U.S. Embassy in Israel? Read they were hit by Iran prior to the bomb drop.

A person at this point should be able to look back and ask why is it that presidents who are opposed to each other wind up in the same places to fight wars. What are the fundamental aspects of the USG that require preservation through kinetic action in a shithole? What is the overriding factor that causes uniparty agreement on war?Year 33 of bombing the middle east. Ya. It'll work this time.
We are led by fucking morons.

But that’s my question: where is the documentation from the iaea or some such regarding this? And how is it that they have been weeks away from getting this 60% to weapons grade for two decades? Why enrich uranium to 60% when it has no reason for "peaceful purposes"?
Therein lies the issue IMO.Why enrich uranium to 60% when it has no reason for "peaceful purposes"?
It was literally released days before Israel attacked, around the time IAEA announced that Iran was in breach of their nonproliferation obligations. But that’s my question: where is the documentation from the iaea or some such regarding this?
I’m saying we have a poor history of being involved I regime change including in Iran. Yes I believe there should be a change but it shouldn’t be a western puppet. Let the Iranian people get the regime they want.I certainly get "No Boots on the ground." As for Regime Change, are you saying that there should be no Regime change at all, or that the USA should not be "in charge/responsible" for affecting that regime change? Point being, if the regime doesn't change, somehow, those same leaders will just start their nuclear campaign over again. We'll be doing this again and again. Each time we destroy it, they'll rebuild it. I think the regime needs to change, but we in the US don't have to be the ones doing it. It should be the Iranian people, themselves.
“The IAEA report only speaks about “particles,” suggesting that Iran isn’t building a stockpile of uranium enriched above 60% — the level it has been enriching at for some time.” From the AP.It was literally released days before Israel attacked, around the time IAEA announced that Iran was in breach of their nonproliferation obligations.

UN report: Uranium particles enriched to 83.7% found in Iran
Inspectors from the United Nations nuclear watchdog have found uranium particles enriched up to 83.7% in Iran’s underground Fordo nuclear site.apnews.com

Fool me once…Jerome Powell?
Truth is when Clinton left office, we had a surplus in the treasury. AStan and Iraq fixed that.Year 33 of bombing the middle east. Ya. It'll work this time.

No its not the same thing, also Korea is not sitting on or next to 1/4 of the worlds energy supply. They are in check up there. So by this attacks same logic we should be bombing North Korea right now.
They have nukes.
Ballisitic Missiles that can reach multiple times further than Iran.
And they chant death to America daily.
So...lets start a 5th war. Based on principle.
No, you deal with them differently now. Should have bombed them before they got them.
No its not the same thing, also Korea is not sitting on or next to 1/4 of the worlds energy supply. They are in check up there.
Not all problems require the same solution.
I just heard a record scratch. No its not the same thing, also Korea is not sitting on or next to 1/4 of the worlds energy supply. They are in check up there.
Not all problems require the same solution.
Wrong again.Since 1984 the propaganda has been they are X months or years away from getting a bomb.
Yesterday's events will do nothing but guarantee now they will pursue a bomb.
I am not broke, I got a roof over my head, food in my belly, A/C keeping me cool. And yet we've been applying the same solution in the middle east since 1992.
And here we are.
Further broke. And still bombing.
No thats what you are saying.I just heard a record scratch.
So you a saying that the reason we are going into Iran under the excuse of protecting Israel is to secure the oil fields? That would mean that solar and wind are shit renewables and we actually DO require oil. And that carbon credits require the use of fossil fuels to create revenue. That would also tie neatly out with the plans for the canal through Gaza that has been floated for some time now.
This whole thing can be just about money can it?
Wrong again.
Yesterdays actions will keep them from achieving their goals of building a nuke they have been pursuing since the 80's.
I am not broke, I got a roof over my head, food in my belly, A/C keeping me cool.
If you want broke check out central Africa.
Bombs will never stop falling, until when invent a better way. Get over it.
Which I suggested several pages back, but you shit on even having the idea of a better way. Get over yourself.Bombs will never stop falling, until when invent a better way. Get over it.
Whats your suggestion, go french and runaway? For how long? A year? A few? So we just continue to bomb them each time Israel tells us they are close?
Sounds retarded and right on brand for our foreign policy.
Then stop financing shit you can't afford.I was referring to our national debt.
What to you tell a woman with one black eye?Warhawk gonna warhawk.
Sums up my feelings as well. Over the past couple days, Netanyahu has been openly saying Israel did not need our intervention and they had pans for taking down the underground reactors without our help. I think we should have just let Israel continue to pound Iran. They had full air superiority over Iran. The regime is in shambles, it was only a matter of time before the Iranian people took advantage of that situation and effected their own regime change. Now, there is a real possibility that the regime just gained a lot more support with the Iranian people. It is what it is now I guess. All it will take is one successful retaliatory strike by Iran on US assets and the MIC will have their excuse to put American boots on the ground.I’ll be honest I’m split on this. The patriot and the American in me has a Boner for a successful attack and a successful mission and showing our dominance. The other side of me is like do we really need another war?
