Yep. We used one to haul a bunch of cement and concrete aggregates up a hill. They put out a calendar, Title was something along the lines of "The only 5000 lb crane with a 14,000 foot boom". They did a good job. Static electricity is real.

I was briefed on but got an in person lesson on helo generated static electricity under a hovering HH-3 Pelican on a deck that was pitching 45 degrees each way in 70 knot winds. The pitching deck and winds didn’t get me but that static from the swinging stokes litter knocked me on my ass.

Thats about tight. When I was living in a tent at the logging site in the Missions we had snow on the 28th. That when I knew this southern boy would not be wintering up there.
