Fenix Lighting had a booth at SHOT Show 2025. NEAT...

Their new TK35Rs and LR35Rs are absolute beasts cranking out raw power in units no bigger than a handheld warehouse inventory scanner without a cooling fan needed. 5,800 lumens out of the TK35R with two 3400-4000 MAH 18650s and 10,000 lumens out of the LR35R with two 4000-6000 MAH 21700s.

ETA: The only slightly irritating thing about how flashlights are progressing is that more manufacturers seem to be leaning towards boxy and flat units with non-removable internal batteries. Naaah... Tubes and removable batteries will always reign supreme. Lithium ion batteries all lose charge upon every charge-discharge cycle, that is their nature. Non-removable units become paperweights once that internal powerpack expires, while with a traditional unit you simply swap out a cell with a new one. Plus tubes can do everything that a flat unit can do including external charging via USB-C or micro-USB. And tubes have been around forever so there are much more accessories on the market for affixing the units onto guns, bows, tripods, hardhats, etc...

If the random texter/caller will not stop, I bypass a couple calls when they call.
Hello, this is sergeant Smith, homicide.
Do not hang up, we will come to your house and arrest you.
Do you know the owner of this phone?
No, then why are you calling this person?
Stop blathering. This is a murder investigation. You must answer our questions.
If you do not know the deceased, why are you calling his number?
Does he owe you money?
How often do you see him?
Give me your address!
I know I have it.
Give it to me, I want to know if you have been lying to me!

I try to keep them on the line for at least ten minutes.
When I authorize them to hang up, they never call back again.
