You should have canceled vacation and called in sick to work. So selfish. Do it for the Hide. Give us feedback. We've been not so patiently waiting.mine showed up the other day. Between vacation and work trips I won’t get to play with it till next week.
If it’s like ingenuity precision, “end of a month.”
Which month (and which year) is anybody’s guess.![]()
And almost exactly on timeAh, but it's NOT like ingenuity precision.....these guys have actually shipped a finished product!
And almost exactly on time
The near-daily, years-long IP thread is a source of regular amusement. When it finally ships, I hope it was worth the wait for everyone.
Back on topic, I will be testing my PPT this weekend so I can give the Hide the feedback they desire on this weekend of explosions and freedom.
Got my PP yesterday. It works well with Varget. Not so well with 8208, but I might try that again.
Here's a quick vid with Varget:
Cheap resin leveling table from Amazon. And then I have a piece of granite sitting on top of that. What stand is that under scale

I think everyone should just give up on that one and move on lol then maybe he might get it to market but idk.If it works like that video most of the time, I just may have to get one of them for the cost, and to symbolically thumb my nose at the competition that keeps giving us the runaround, not communicating, etc.
I keep thinking how support moving forward will be if that other product ever gets released. If it works like that video most of the time, I just may have to get one of them for the cost, and to symbolically thumb my nose at the competition that keeps giving us the runaround, not communicating, etc.
Yes, and one of the biggest mistakes imo was the option of paying for the 50% solution that came out a couple months ago. No incentive to release the product when "good enough" sells.I think everyone should just give up on that one and move on lol then maybe he might get it to market but idk.
Talking to Mr PP, it may have just been some static that builds up in the bubble wrap during shipping. Running powder through it can help with this, but you can always give all the parts a good rub down with a dryer sheet. They are treated with a graphite spray and all have powder run through them before they are shipped, but different environments can act differently. Generally they will "break in" as you use it and everything gets a good coat of graphite on it.VERY strange results. Calibration didn’t work right and the bulk dispenser was not working correctly. Dumped it out, filled with Varget and it ran like a champ.
I am going to try it again when I have time and will take video. Maybe it just had some first time jitters.![]()
Ask, and ye shall receive.I fixed it for you. We appreciate it.![]()

Calibration is still off with 8208 XBR. The bulk powder drop is ~2.45x the amount shown on the controller screen.
Before the videos shown below, I took everything apart and wiped it down, then brushed a very thin layer of graphite powder over the parts. Should be no static.
My assumption was that I have a scale config option wrong, but why would Varget work perfectly then?
Amazingly, it still did very well on the powder drops. Not as good as Varget, but it was coming within .02gr almost every time even though the error value was .04 or .06.
The videos below are just two powder configs...not powder drops to a specific number. I assume this is what Mr. PP and the early testers want to see. I am going to mess with N133 next and then back to Varget to confirm it works as expected.
Verify all the scale settings are correct.I got mine it’s together. Tried varget first did the calibration. Tried 36 grains and it’s throwing over. Wiped down with drier sheet when put together only been maybe 10 charges. Also how to dump the trickler without making a mess?
Based on my limited experience, I agree. The manual says (from memory) 35-75gr of powder. But overall if it's climbing the disk on the outside, imperfect things happen. Also I think you have too much in the trickler.
To be fair, some other products have had more than a year to build up a queue. Once the PPTrickler is proven, I expect some will come over.I figured guys would’ve been all over this
Just noticed the part about CE Products - good news. That's where I got the scale, good service and quick shipping.New update from King PP, for those wondering about order status.
you can clip a safety pin and tape it in place to keep the powder crawling around the trickler cupBased on my limited experience, I agree. The manual says (from memory) 35-75gr of powder. But overall if it's climbing the disk on the outside, imperfect things happen.
