I didn't know tree frogs could change colors. This fella is blending in nicely.

That would be a slick pattern on a stock…..

I dig the fade of the green.

Did the boys think he was cool?

Can imagine them in some pond catching bullfrogs and covered with mud from head to toe. (I was there many times in my youth!)

I agree. That is a cool pattern for a stock.

Im not artistic enough to make it happen.

BUT, I might just try…..

Saving pic.

Need to run to Walmart for some paint and grab a case of beer.
Will see how she turns out!!

(Kidding)

Though I might be inspired to do a stock and rifle in a similar fashion one of these days.

Few things on my list to finish up first!

I’m really interested to see how it turns out if you do. The first thing I did when I saw your comment was was to try and picture how one could get a similar look. I believe that it can be done. At least the look if not the incredible detail that nature provides.

I have a new Bravo stock lying around at home that doesn’t currently have a purpose. Maybe when I get back, I’ll head out and get some Krylon and try it out.

And no, I’m no artist either. Maybe I’ll use @clcustom1911 inspiration. 😄

Not as excited as I'd have hoped, but we did spend the morning walking through Horicon Marsh (you should Google it.) I think they were frogged out.

ETA: 33,00O acres of marsh.

There can be only one... And it involves vinegar sauce with pepper flakes!

Nope. What youre talking about is NC Slop.

Southern Oklahoma (some call it Texas) has the only true BBQ

Involves at leas 12 hours of low heat and smoke from mesquite, hickory, or even peach wood. Ask @Ronws

You hail From Virginia… where overcooked salted-to-death ham fit only to be chopped into soup is considered the state food!

Not taking BBQ advice!!

PS. OK does have wicked good BBQ. Never was a brisket guy myself. Unless it’s kosher deli type on rye with Kraut and Russian dressing. Texans love their brisket… I never had a thing for it. KC BBQ… ummmm. Good stuff too!!!

No vinegar or pepper flake barbecue.
Kraut goes on brats, Russian dressing on a salad.
Texas brisket is awesome, KC BBQ is great.
Get some genuine west Texas cabrito if you can sometime.
