Rifle Scopes New S&B 10-60x

wooferocau,

Thanks that helps....sort of, I was hoping you would say the 5-45 parallax sucks...that would have my my decision easier...

W65PK,

I saw that one, I want the .05cm turrets. in the 4-45 .5cm MT like wooferocau...

1st world problems....
The 10-60 is a great optic...you cant go wrong with either..

wooferocau,

One more question....regarding the reticles...is the "dot" in the center the same size for both the LRR-MIL (5-45) vs the M1FL (6-60)?

I too really like the "dot" for target shooting, we have a white 3"x3" square in FCSA shooting inside the X ring....the "dot" is easy to center up on that.

Thanks ahead!

The LRR has a smaller centre dot....

Hi am a current owner of few SB PM II .05 mils/click scopes 6-36 and 5-45 and very happy with their glass and overall performance. I don’t know if I got a bad batch but a few months ago I purchased two (2) SB CM 10-60x56 w/ 0.05 mil /per click turrets. The first 10-60 scope was installed in my custom 338 LM. After approximately 20 rounds fired my FOV was blurred and both parallax elevation turrets were inop. My second 10-60 scope was installed on my custom 50 BMG rifle. After approximately 10 rounds fired the scope internals shattered. Both ocular and objective lenses looked fine. But you could hear the scope’s internal components moving when the scope was moved. I was going through a 50 cal certification course when this mishap happened. Luckily I had my SB PM II 5-45 and it performed flawlessly after 48 rounds of 50 BMG fired during my course in one day. My understanding from the SB rep was that these CM scopes are rated the same for 50 BMG as their PM counterparts. My two CM 10-60 scopes are currently in Germany for inspection and repairs. Just curious if any of you guys have encountered any issues w/ the 10-60 models.IMG_3584.jpegIMG_3738.jpeg

Yeah i had a couple of the first 10-60,s ... both failed on large calibres after less than 10 rounds.
I worked with S&B Germany and an issue was identified.. and "Fixed"
All "Current' 6-36,s and 10-60,s are fine..

The issues you describe are exactly what happened to mine ........ Send them back to S&B in Germany and they will "Fix" the issue.
Again...ALL current production are 100% OK .. no issues..

I have since switched from the 6-36,s and 10-60,s to the 5-45,s ( 3 off) ... couldn't be happier~!!

Hey, never asked you this. What mag do you typically shoot at?
