I swear when I bought a Long action CDG a month ago their website said BDL cut. Turns out it is not. I already chambered the barrel before even thinking about it. Putting this gun together for my brother and he’s dead set on a BDL. So before I sell it and restart, do I have any options to have someone mill out the action or something else?

It may not be a true OEM R700 BDL cut but the integral feed control surfaces are certainly there.

If your measurements are not jiving with an R700 Long Action, I would advise contacting ARC.

That feature isn't there by accident. I'd be pretty sure it will accommodate a Wyatt or similar internal box and you will still be able to meet your goal of a BDL bottom for your brother.

Contact ARC and ask. Bet they link you to what you need.

I called ARC yesterday and they said my only option is BDM.
I also called Wyatt’s it see if he had any solutions and I’m waiting for an email back after our phone call

Called Wyatt’s also, he thought he may have a solution but waiting for an email back. I currently have his 7PRC box.

What is a BDM? Box Detachable Magazine?
If so, why did they go to the trouble to program and then cut an integral feature into the bottom of the receiver that looks like feed controls for an internal box?

I guess I'm not up to speed on hot shit new stuff.

In that case, discuss with them the issue of you making the purchase based on the "BDL" description within their own media.
