I’d love to know why it isn’t a 90° connection. Rubs on my fatass Tangent turret.

A 90° is fine too; I’m not hot on paying $3-500 for a new remote.

Yeah that's my one gripe, taller turreted scopes will prevent usage of the remote, unless you really mount the lrf forward on the diving board, a 90° would be the perfect solution, it allows use with scope like yhe TT or NF with beast turrett and also gets the wire out of the way so its not a hindrance when dialing.

Biggest downside of the Impact (aside from not working when it's mildly chilly outside lol) is a wireless remote. My favorite thing is to spend whole nights wondering around in the dark constantly checking to see if I lost my switch (I haven't lost one yet, but the fear is always there).

Agreed, I will always prefer a wired remote but it is nice that Maztech will give users the choice. Now if I can run a wired and wireless remote at the same time that would be awesome. I would put the wireless one on the buttstock to use with my support hand.

I'd be down for that. But I absolutely want wired over BT or any other wireless option first. Connector wise, with enough "want" you can have the connector at whatever position you want. Hell we have someone here who makes switches with different connectors.

What's everyone using for scope/mount options on this thing?
I'm ready to pull the trigger on a 15k but I'm worried about turret access.
Right now I'm running a zco/spuhr combo.

Grabbed a 2k today. I wanted a 15k but I did a reality check with myself and realized I've rarely shot over a mile. I'm excited.

That looks awesome! Is the riser needed for the clip-on? I saw MMM use a PVS-30 in his video without a riser and it worked fine.

That looks awesome! Is the riser needed for the clip-on? I saw MMM use a PVS-30 in his video without a riser and it worked fine.

Most clip ons are 1.5” some are 1.35
Maz is 1.9”

Thanks @BurtG that mf’er is huge. I don’t have a mission for it so this kinda solidifies that I’m going to sit on the sideline for a bit. The mars profile is nicer but I don’t need 2 of them.

It’s honestly massive. Neither the NF or Area419 diving board are long enough for the remote plug to clear the turret on a NF 7-35.

it works fine the NF diving board with a 7-35 with the beast turret, the cable bends so it will insert into the port just fine and not mess with anything structurally.

In case this helps anyone, works fine with the following:

- NF 2.5-20x50 with Badger Condition 1 mount and Badger CLIF diving board

- ZCO 5-27x56 in ZCO block mount and one piece pic rail diving board

- ZCO 8-40x56 in ZCO rings and ZCO top cap with long pic rail diving board

- S&B 4-16x42 in Seekins rings and Vortex/Seekins diving board

Works with ATACR 4-16x42 with Reptilia diving board. You do have to modify the diving board front, which has a slope where the final grove needs to be. An $11 file from Home Depot and a little patience…
