Oh for fucks sake lady, that’s not how you get rid of crabs!
Are you going to pick them off her and eat em like a chimpanzee does?

A discount for military service is not a deal breaker. I know people have to make money, no biggie. Lowe's and Home Depot sure, my buddies gunstore I get "no tax" on used guns and that's good enough for me. I have noticed the guys who ask the most did the least while in uniform.

I don't need a thank you either. For the most part I don't mention it unless they have a sign or something.

SIG SAUER

P320 Information

P320 Safety Information

Recently, there have been a number of reports and claims regarding the safety of the P320 pistol and its use by the U.S. Military and law enforcement agencies. We understand you may have questions. We want to address your concerns and provide you with full, complete, and accurate information.

SIG SAUER has ALWAYS and will continue to put the safety and security of the U.S. Military, the law enforcement community, our consumers, and the public first. To this end, we want to be sure concerned citizens have access to complete facts.

The P320 pistol is one of the safest, most advanced pistols in the world -meeting and exceeding all industry safety standards. Its design has been thoroughly tested and validated by the U.S. Military and law enforcement agencies at the federal, state and local levels. In addition, the P320 has been rigorously tested, and is currently in use by militaries and law enforcement agencies around the world.

FBI Testing and Report

A recently publicized internal report from the FBI’s Ballistic Research Facility (BRF) created some confusion and raised questions about the safety of the P320. The FBI prepared this report for the Michigan State Police after an officer was involved in an accidental discharge. SIG SAUER engineers met with the FBI and Michigan State Police on several occasions to review the report and the incident. Ultimately, the FBI conducted a more detailed, repeatable, and comprehensive battery of testing using compatible equipment. The subsequent testing resulted in zero instances of failures and the Michigan State Police are now confidently issuing officers P320 based pistols. The FBI BRF have yet to make any official claims or statements regarding the safety of the P320 pistol or any of its variants. However, we are urging the FBI BRF and FBI Director Kash Patel to release a full and complete testing and evaluation report on their updated P320 safety testing.

Department of Homeland Security

An internal memo from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/ U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was recently posted online stating the agency was halting its use of the P320. Many online media outlets immediately sought to attribute this to the above referenced FBI BRF report, which is incorrect. DHS has never raised any safety concerns about the P320 and ICE has since extended their existing contract with SIG SAUER another two years. Since DHS has yet to comment publicly correcting their improperly leaked memo, or any statements questioning the safety of the P320, we are now urging ICE to release all information on P320 testing. SIG SAUER is honored to continue aiding ICE in their mission to protect America.

U.S. Air Force M18

There was a recent tragic incident at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming which resulted in the death of an Airman. Because the incident involved the discharge of a (P320 based) M18 pistol, the Air Force is actively conducting an evaluation of M18 pistols within the specific Command where the incident happened. This cautionary step is standard procedure. We proactively offered assistance to the U.S. military as they investigate the incident. Contrary to several online reports, (P320 based) M17 and M18 pistols remain on active duty with all branches of the U.S. Military, including the U.S. Air Force, defending freedom around the world. We have absolute confidence in the U.S. Military’s ability to conduct a thorough investigation and report their findings. As we learn more information about the investigation, we will continue to provide updated information.

P320 Range and Training Bans

Following several of these inaccurate reports, a number of ranges, training providers, and training facilities made the reactionary decision to ban the P320 and its use in their facilities. We are actively working to provide these individuals with accurate information along with a detailed understanding of the P320 and its safety features. If you are impacted by a P320 range or a training provider ban, we urge you to reach out to SIG CUSTOMER SERVICE: 603-610-3000 Option 1 or send a message here so we can clarify any misinformation and provide the truth.

The P320 CANNOT, under any circumstances, discharge without the trigger first being moved to the rear. This has been verified through exhaustive testing by SIG SAUER engineers, the U.S. Military, several major federal and state law enforcement agencies, and independent laboratories. This video provides a detailed view into all of the various safety features of the P320 and provides a detailed explanation of how the safety system works; for further information on the P320 please visit here.

As with any gun, the P320 will discharge if the trigger is pulled to the rear. Accordingly, SIG SAUER continues to remind its customers, employees, and the public to employ all safe gun-handling practices as spelled out in detail in our product manuals. The SIG SAUER Academy remains a resource to customers, employees, and the public in offering various firearms safety courses.

We respect the public’s concern and are actively working to provide as much information as possible. We sincerely thank you for your continued support of SIG SAUER and urge anyone with additional questions or concerns regarding the P320 and/or safe firearms handling to reach out to our customer service team.

Firearm Owners' Protection Act (FOPA) of 1986 is a United States federal law that revised many provisions of the Gun Control Act of 1968.

The Act also contained a provision that banned the sale to civilians of machine guns manufactured after the date of enactment, restricting sales of these weapons to the military and law enforcement. Thus, in the ensuing years, the limited supply of these arms available to civilians has caused an enormous increase in their price, with most costing in excess of $10,000. Regarding these fully-automatic firearms owned by private citizens in the U.S., political scientist Earl Kruschke said "approximately 175,000 automatic firearms have been licensed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (the federal agency responsible for administration of the law) and evidence suggests that none of these weapons has ever been used to commit a violent crime."[3]: 85

The Act mandated that ATF compliance inspections can be done no more than once per year. An exception exists if multiple record-keeping violations are recorded in an inspection, in which case the ATF may do a follow-up inspection.

I’m not a vet, still no need to ask me to thank you every 5 seconds. The real high speed operators and team guys never said shit to anyone about it and the one who talked about it the most was a supply sergeant, weird shit. Don’t recall anyone telling me how they protected me thankfully. I do go out of my way to say stuff to Vietnam Vets since they got treated so shitty coming home.

Obviously you volunteer to go to war I appreciate it, but no need to remind me to try and get more discounts on already low prices constantly. I know one guy with a FFL that requires you to be active duty for a discount and he’s a vet. Always an awkward moment when guys hear “active duty only” and it’s only something like 3%. He also grills them about their MOS and where they deployed It’s hard to watch when I’ve stopped in.

The best way to get discounts is be cool when you show up, spend money, and don’t ask for shit theyll remember you.

Edit: I do love hearing the stories of retarded shit, and fuck fuck games from vets though. Tell me all the stupid funny stories
I don't give discounts, for any group,
and in my business, if you want something and say I'll take it, you bought it at list price,
once we get paperwork going, negotiations and discount don't happen,

kinda related, I'm set up at a gunshow in NOVA, busy day, selling well,

get a guy, says he wants to buy a firearm,
has mil ID, and PCS paperwork

paperwork is 3 yrs out of date,
so I ask for a recent set,
he gives me grief about that, but I calmly tell him (he was in the Army IIRC, and an officer, don't recall rank,)

tell him he has a choice, provide paperwork or move on,
so he gets on the phone with his wife, talks to her like an ass, embarrassingly so,

after maybe 30 minutes she sends him a pic of the paperwork,,, same as when he already had

another phone call and more berating over the phone, and he gets his current Orders,,

to DC,
I am a FFL,, in VA, at that time there were no gunshops to do transfers in DC,
so he proceeds to rant at me about how he had PCS papers in DC but worked in VA,

sorry, says I,

then he called me anti Vet,,

my helper, who is a VET, with some disability on paperwork, was about to go apeshit on this guy , but luckily , for the dude, looked at me first and I told the dude that as a non veteran, who owned a company started by my father,, a Vet, and employing Vets, and have a brother from another mother that is(at that time) employed by USAR as a civilian and a Vet, that accusation did not really fly,

he shut up and left,

came back an hour later, and said his buddy wanted to buy that gun now,, (buddy had proper paperwork)
he got a quick lesson on what a straw purchase was and asked if I needed to reach out to the ATF, the VSP or his commanding officer.

he stfu and left

and before anyone says I could have used his DL to sell him a rifle, nope, he stated he lived here in VA, and his PCS was expired, so that would not fly,

I never did anything questionable, we didn’t even sell to people with green cards because dealing with them was a hassle. More than once a delay would never come back and you’d have to start over and listen to a bunch of bitching and I could have sold that firearm to one of several other people.

I got asked to illegally sell shit like it’s normal constantly too, I guess it was the location being driving distance from shitty areas. Fuck all that

I sell to people with green cards probably at least once a week, Philly is 20 mins away. Used to take a day but over the last couple years it's not about 15-20 mins. I make them put a NON-refundable deposit.
