The New York Post August 20, 2025 edition ha a small article stating that Ukraine claimed new world record for a sniper kill. A solldier took a 4378 (about 21/2 miles) yard shot and killed two Russian solders. The Ukrainian soldier is part of their ghost sniper unit. He used their 14.5 mm "alligator" rifle; he was guided by AI and Drones. Note i am only reporting what i read. anyone disagreeing please don't take it out on me.
