Anyone thinking of moving from their blue state to a more Free Red state?

No, staying and fighting the libtards here in California, someone has to

Yep - One of our homes is in California and in an area that is fairly conservative. Geographically, California is conservative - the population centers around LA and the bay skew politics to the left.

The irony is that there are more republicans in California than CO, KS, NB, OK, IA, ID, SD and some other states combined.

Moved to Florida from Colorado just over a year ago. It was fairly easy since my wife was born and raised in Florida and all her family is here. Our son moved to Florida about 1.5 years prior to us. The hardest part was leaving our granddaughter and my parents behind. Plane tickets are cheap though. No ragrats and life is much better here for myriad reasons. Colorado is an amazing place but the city centers are shit holes and not getting better. The politics are literally insane. But it's been in the plan for years even before Colorfornina went schizophrenic.

Florida is a really wild place. If it wasn’t for the oppressive heat of the 14 month long summers I could totally live in FL again

I'm in Florida so I'm not worried, but are any of you thinking of leaving your blue state for a more free Red state? How about @Lowlight

Lots of people have done it especially retirees.

I went from CA to AZ and after a couple years I miss my old part of cali a lot. It was up north about an hour from Tahoe. It sucks that the most beautiful state in the union fell to democrats.

All who are leaving one state for another, a little PSA reminder:

You will NOT be allowed to tell the residents of your new state how awesome your old state is (maybe was, but not "is"). Nobody wants to hear about how amazing your old state is, how you did things in your old state, and how people are in your old state...

Nothing drives a wedge between you and your new neighbors more than you, moving in and f@cking up property taxes etc... and then being subjected to your glowing pride in your "home state". The irony is that 99% of these people bitch about immigrants - legal or otherwise - doing the exact same thing, yet they are oblivious to their own version of doing it.

I'm in Texas ,the Democrats are trying real hard to flip us blue , hopefully that never happens , I'm too damn old old to move ,ain't doing it , I'll be found dead right where I'm at , might have to build a makeshift bunker and fend off the zombies but that's alright, I can make do.

The two best places to live: The one you just left and the one you’re moving to next.

That is a wild exaggeration. We have winter. I breakout the trousers twice last year.
You still wear flip flops though, right?

Is it acceptable to talk mad shit about how the blood-soaked monsters fucked everything up in the previous state?

States? Y’all are pussies. I’m exploring options outside of the US entirely.

Yep.

Made a big mistake and moved from the great free state of Oklahoma (Sooners Rule!) to New Mexico, thinking "Well, its blue, but its in the SW, surrounded by AZ., and South Oklahoma (aka Texas), how bad could it be. DOH! While my area is beautiful, and the dry climate at 6000 feet is wonderful for the bones, its that bad. The governor is a commie cunt of the first degree🤢. NM is last in education, second in crime, medical professionals are fleeing because of her malpractice laws, and its poor as crap. What does Gov. Grisham do? Holds a benifit to raise funds for PBS. 🤬There are lots of good folks here, dont mean to disrepect them, but Albq. and Santa Fe out vote us. With ranching going the way of the dodo, and the cities growing, little chance of positive change.

No wife, kids, family, or job, color me gone.
